Capítulo 54: Chapter 54: Return to Winterfell

Aiden lowered himself back down onto the roof, he was holding Angela in a princess carry, he had caught her to keep her from causing damage should she fall into a populated area.

Al looked at Aiden strangely, "You do know she wants to kill us both?"

Aiden just shook his head, "No, just you my friend, although she may have looked like she was trying to kill me, I felt no malice in her attacks. Just look at her, something is off about her."

Al looked at the fierce red head in Aidens arms, she looked peaceful, she was even curled cutely into Aiden, "What do you mean?"

"Well, isn't all of Heavens agents angels? She isn't an angel, yet she isn't human, the analysis of her blood says she's of the Aesir race." Aiden stated as he tried to think on what to do next.

"Aesir? What the hell is that?" Al asked, it was a term he didn't know.

"You know Asgard, Odin, Thor, Heimdall." Aiden explained.

"Like Noris Mythology? Vikings and such?" Al asked strangely.

"That's the one, I think we had better relocate to somewhere else. Somewhere much more secure than this place, there are to many innocent people around, if those Angels send people after her, they may not be as willing to follow their rules to get us both." Aiden suggested.

"I agree. Wait, don't skim over what you just mentioned. How can those mythological gods exist? They are just stories." Al stated curiously, he had heard about the history of this world, which did have a similar history to the Earth within Marvel.

"Almost all myths and legends are based on fact, just embellished over time. Many scholars believed that King Solomon, mentioned in the bible as the richest and wisest king ever recorded, was a myth. There was no historical record ever found of his existance outside the bible. Until one day they did find a Babylonian stone tablet that mentioned him. So just because it sounds fanciful doesn't mean there isn't some truth to it." Aiden explained.

Aiden then turned to the staircase that led to the roof, "Zack, you stay safe. If you ever need any help, use that bracelet to contact me. Even if it's just for more food."

Zack had not left like he was asked, he was too amazed by the battle and so had mearly pretended to leave. After seeing the boy agree and run off to share his food with his father, Aiden wrapped his bio-electric field around Spawn and flew them to an old abandoned shipyard near the Hudson River, there he pulled out a crystal.

Before leaving he had Kelex created smaller Fortress crystals, this would allow him to interconnect the various worlds he visited, which could be used to teleport between the bases and Fortess above Planetos using the Phantom Zone.

Now if anyone in Planetos wanted to visit this world, they could use the Phantom Zone Projector to move between the worlds instantly.

Time worked differently in the Phantom Zone, it was almost none existent. It is why when Kara Zor-El arrived at Earth, she was still a teenager like when Krypton exploded, her ship was trapped in the Phantom Zone while Kal El arrived and grew from a baby to an adult.

This is why teleportation using the Phantom Zone was instantaneous no matter the distance, you pass thru a zone that basically has no time, so it acts as a wormhole that directly connects two points in space.

Aiden used his bio-electric field to hold Angela up while he retrieved one of the crystals and tossed it into the water.

He chose an Aquatic base since it would not only provide secrecy, one of the side effects of the base would be cleaning the oceans of pollutants. It wouldn't be instantaneous, it would take time to clean the oceans, but the longer the base remained, the more water would be cleaned.

The world Spawn originated from, although similar to our own, was a dark world. Angels and Demons purposely polluted the world, like when Al Simmons was killed in his last mission, that explosion not only killed Al, but released a biological weapon into the atmosphere killing millions of innocent people over time.

This was planned purposely by Hell, not only that but Hell had given Jason Wynn an even worst biological weapon, had him link it to a pacemaker and installed within his heart, they wanted Spawn to kill Wynn out of revenge, thus releasing the weapon across the globe once Wynn died.

This was what Violator meant when he told Spawn he was the match to set the world on fire. His only task was to kill Wynn, once he did, Hell would have all the souls of the Earth and could attack heaven using all those souls.

"Come on Al, lets see if we can't fix you up, I maybe able to heal those burn marks all over your body, make you all pretty again." Aiden said as he felt the base complete its construction.

As the three figures dissappeared within the new base, the World Leaders began to have various discussions on what to do about the "Superman" that had appeared. They didn't like the fact an unknown individual with so much power just showed up, so they began their investigations to find out where he came from.

As Aiden brought his two new friends into the base, back in Westeros his original self was was enjoying his time with Dacey. They had checked on the situation in the Vale, which was pretty chaotic thanks to Petyr Baelish. He was supposed to be there to assist Lysa Arryn and the heir to Jon Arryn, bring it back under the throne , but that isn't what he really planned to do.

His goal was to let the Lannisters and Baratheons kill each other while he continued to manipulate Lysa, he wanted to use her to try to get in with the Tullys to try to sow discord within the Targaryen alliance, as well as using her to get to his ultimate prize, Catelyn Stark.

This was the reason Aiden brought Dacey, not only would they be able to spend time together but she was a honorable and trustworthy person to the north, the Mormonts were staunch supporters of the Starks, so when they returned to inform the north of what was happening, it would be more readily accepted if Dacey also backed the claims.

Although Aiden was trusted by the northerners, he was still a outsider to a lot of the northerners, so Dacey's words held more weight when it came to such a big plot. Aiden made sure to recover evidence in the form of letters to back up Petyrs plot, this way Petyr wouldn't be able to easily manipulate things from the shadows.

Aiden and Dacey returned North after they had gathered the information and were currently returning on their way back to Winterfell. On their way back Aiden felt a surge of dark energy within the Wolfswood, this was a large forest that was between Deepwood Motte and Winterfell.

"What's the matter?" Dacey asked as she had noticed the change in Aidens demeanor as she was being held in a princess carry as they flew back.

Aiden had offered to allow her to fly by herself but she enjoyed being in his arms so she prefered to fly like this. It allowed her to feel the warmth that radiated from him as well as being able to enjoy his scent.

"Something is happening near Winterfell," Aiden stated as he used his vision to look into the distance thru the trees, "I should bring you back to Winterfell, there are two people I need to deal with."

"Take me with you, I want to help." Dacey said excitedly.

"Not this time my little she-bear, but I do need your help in passing the information we got regarding Lysa and Petyr to Lord Stark. The two I have to deal with aren't your typical people. They aren't even human anymore, you wouldn't stand a chance." Aiden said as he watched them sacrifice a few men in front of a Heart Tree.

"That's no fair, I want to fight by your side. I can take care of myself." Dacey responded with a pout.

"I know you do, and there is a way, but I'm not sure you would want to do it. You wouldn't be human anymore afterwards. But even if I did do the procedure now, you still wouldn't be able to join in this fight." Aiden explained as he thought on the small piece of platinum kryptonite that was stored within the Fortress of Solitude.

"Really? If not human what would I be?" Dacey asked curiously.

"Well you would be of my race, kryptonian. You would have powers similar to mine, you would lose your Mormont bloodline and become like me. Kryptonians are powered by a yellow sun, so the more sunlight you absorb the stronger you will become." Aiden responded.

Dacey's face lit up, although she didn't like the fact she would be losing her family heritage, she did like the idea of becoming not only stronger, but it would also be like she was wedding into his family.

"If I do it, will you marry me so that I would be of your house, since I would be no longer of my own?" Dacey asked with a red face, she wouldn't mind it if it meant she would be able to be with Aiden.

"Of course, you would be of House El from that point forward anyway. Although you will have weaknesses, but with some training those weaknesses can be gotten rid of." Aiden stated.

Kryptonians had a weakness to kryptonite and red solar radiation, but this could be trained to get rid of. It just took a lot of time for normal kryptonians. Superman Prime and Golden Superman both had gained enough strength to get rid of those weaknesses, and even Kal El did end up eventually absorb enough sunlight to rid himself of those weaknesses.

The trick was to use pulsars or quasars, while yellow suns increased a kryptonians strength steadily, blue suns doubled their growth, and white suns were even more so beneficial than them all. Pulsars and quasars, altho they don't power a kryptonian making them stronger, what it did do was lock the power they had gained from absorbing the energy into their base strength.

So basically even if they ran into a red sun, it would only depower them from their gains after they went back to another sun. For example if a kryptonian spent 100 years under a yellow star then went to a pulsar or quasar, they would forever have those 100 years of solar energy within them. So if they went back to a yellow for say 50 years then ran into a red sun, they would only lose the 50 years of power, they would still maintain the 100 years they stored after using the pulsar or quasar. So they do depower but would still maintain super strength and other abilities.

"Fine, I will agree to it. But I want us to wed first, then you can change me." Dacey said happily as she gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"As you wish, I shall drop you off now then go handle the two unwanted guests." Aiden said with a smile.

Aiden sped forward and quickly landed within the courtyard of Winterfell, after handing Dacey the evidence of what Petyr was doing and planning, he floated back up into the air and took off towards where the Warlocks were performing their sacrifices.

Flamebird, who had been relaxing within Winterfell's Godswood, sensed Aiden's intentions and flew after him. She was getting bored and wanted to participate in a battle herself, so she joined Aiden.

Dacey watched as Aiden and Flamebird disappeared into the distance, she couldn't keep the smile from her face as she quickly made her way into Winterfell with the information.

Approaching Ser Rodrik Cassel who was issuing out orders to several guards who were about to go out on patrol, she waited until he finished before coming up to him to ask for his assistance.

Seeing her approach Rodrik gave a smile, "Lady Mormont, to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you today?"

"Ser Rodrik, I need to see Lord Stark as soon as possible, I bring important information from the Vale as well as an update on what is happening in the south." Dacey said respectfully.

"Alright, if you'll follow me I will inform Lord Stark of your arrival. You seem more radiant today, I take it you had an eventful trip." Rodrik stated as he led the way to Ned's solar.

"Aye, it was very eventful indeed. Both good as well as worrisome, but nothing we can't handle as long as we prepare." Dacey answered with a smile.

"Glad to hear it. Would you mind if I sit in on the meeting so that I can help make preparations, or is it of a more private nature?" Rodrik asked as they made their way thru the castle.

"Aye Ser Rodrik, your input would be invaluable, you are leading much of our forces anyway so it would be good that you knew what we found as well." Dacey responded.

After they reached the the solar, the two guards that stood outside the door saluted Rodrik, one of them then stated respectfully, "Ser Rodrik, Lord Stark is in a meeting with Ser Gerold Hightower and the two Kingsguard. They requested to not be disturbed unless it is important."

"Aye, it is important, Lady Mormont stated she brings word from the south that Lord Stark needs to hear, as should the Kingsguard." Rodrik stated with a nod of approval.

"Aye, one moment Ser Rodrik and Lady Mormont." The guard responded as the other gave the door a knock.

"Aye, what is it?" Ned's voice could be heard thru the door.

The guard opened the door and stuck his head in and responded, "My Lord, Ser Rodrik and Lady Dacey Mormont are here, they said they bring word from the south that you need to hear."

"Alright, let them in." Ned stated as he wondered where Aiden was.

After the two entered Ned asked, "No Aiden?"

"He said he had to go take care of a couple of unwanted guests of the north Lord Stark, but he will return after he is finished." Dacey responded respectfully.

Hearing this Ned scrunched his brow, he wondered who these unwanted guests were in his territory but pushed it to the back of his mind, he would just ask Aiden directly once he returned.

"So you bring word of whats going on in the south? Anything we should be worried about Lady Mormont?" Gerold asked.

"Nothing too serious, the Lannisters are marching against Kings Landing so we don't have any immediate threat. But that isn't the main thing, here, Aiden was able to sneak into the Eyrie and retreive some information you should see." Dacey answered and handed Ned a stack of papers.

As Ned began to read through them Arthur Dayne spoke up, "Aye that is good news indeed. We can move our forces into position easier and begin to widdle down the Westerlands while they are focused on the Usurper."

"What happened? Why would my father go after Kings Landing?" Jaime asked curiously, he couldn't imagine his father going against his son-in-law Robert.
