Owen's Pov

Werewolves are created to adapt to anything or at least we are supposed to but not me. I am terrified of the dark and the pain on my wrist did nothing to soothe my aching heart and soul.

I tried to keep my eyes open but the more I tried the more it kept closing.

"Owen" 

I was vaguely aware of the hands that were cradling me, shaking me to stay awake.

"Owen, you have to eat something" the same hand try to force me to eat whatever pleasant smelling food was on the plate beside me and they almost succeeded but I spat out the food that entered my mouth.

"No" my voice was low and weak.

"But you have to or you will starve to death" the voice was pleading like it was very close to shedding tears.

"Then I die. I have accepted that fate, have you?"
