Capítulo 14: Third Gym Leader

Helena walked inside Mauville City Pokemon gym, with all of her Pokemon walking alongside her; Gardevoir had already connected Dune and Helena's minds to order her during battle.

About Dune, much like Lopunny, he was impatient to try and beat up Wattson, the electric gym leader; every time he battled against a Gym leader, his system gave him a special quest, and as they walked towards where Wattson was waiting for them, the blue panel finally popped out.

Dune sighed; for this fight, his plan was to have Gardevoir use [Hypnosis] on all of Watson's Pokemon while constantly switching in and out to tank all electric-type moves, but it seemed his plan had gone to waste.

The group finally arrived at the chair. Wattson was resting; he was an old man with a round belly, and his clothes screamed, "I'm an eccentric scientist," with yellow pants and a yellow camouflage vest.

"Hohoho! Look who we have here. Brawly told me you beat him pretty badly with a Buneary and a Kirlia, and now you not only evolved them but also brought a Shiny Gabite with you. Hoho! I should have expected that from the Devon Princess, after all." Wattson stood up and signaled Helena to follow him, not even giving her the chance to talk.

The party followed Wattson deeper into the gym, where an enormous battle arena awaited them. "So, are you ready, Lady Helena?" asked Watson as he strouted to his side of the arena.

"Um... Yes! I'm ready!" Exclaimed Helena with some gained confidence; after hanging out with May, going shopping with Dune, and traveling with her Pokemon, she gained some confidence little by little.

Wattson thought it was nice seeing the now grown-up Helena, now a full-fledged Pokemon trainer, stand by herself. 'Ah~ I remember when Devon would bring her to business meetings, and she would just stand in the corner awkwardly; how fast kids grow up,' thought Wattson. "To the count of three, one, two, three!"

Lopunny jumped into the field as Watson freed his first Pokemon from an UltraBall; a black mass covered the lights from the ceiling, casting a shadow over Lopunny, and the mass fell to the ground, making it rumble under its weight.

Wattson's first Pokemon was a Luxray. [Luxray's [Intimidate] lowers Lopunny's attack stat]

Lopunny felt fear seeing the black and yellow electric lion standing before her, but she quickly returned to her senses. She had a mission, and if she gave up now, she would have to wait until Dune wanted to have some fun to finally relieve her urges.

"Lopunny use [Charm] on Luxray!" Screamed Helena, as instructed by Dune, "Luxray use [Ice Fang]! wait, [Charm]?"

Lopunny seductively wiggled her big ass to Luxray as she sent him a kiss, sharply lowering his attack stat, Luxray felt his desire to hurt Lopunny wasn't his, and he should "play" with such friendly Pokemon for a little.

Luxray lightly bit Lopunny's left arm with his ice-coated fangs. It still hurt Lopunny a little, but this was nothing compared to her expected full force.

"Hmm, I thought you would switch to your Gabite; I'll follow up if you want to play this game. Luxray use [Fire fang]!" Helena and Wattson took two turns using [Fire Fang] and [Charm] on each other.

Lopunny and Luxray were basically playfully wrestling in the ground; Lopunny was a master at the art of seducing Pokemon and humans from all the magazines and videos she had spent time watching on Helena's pokeNav, so Luxray always used the most minor force he could on Lopunny.

Helena chuckled and started laughing to herself, creeping out Wattson. "What's so funny, lady Helena?" asked Watsson, stranged by Helena's weird strategy.

"Fufufufu, nothing, just, fufufufu, Lopunny, use [PowerUpPunch]!"

Wattson shitted his pants but decided to fake confidence for a moment; if he managed to burn Lopunny, no matter how much she raised her attack, it would do nothing.

"Luxray, use [Fire fang] until you burn her!" Despite their trainer's orders, both Pokemon continued playing on the ground arena; Luxray felt as if Lopunny's punches were tickles, each time growing more robust, until after the fourth hit, it sent him flying to the other side of the arena.

Lopunny mockingly wiggled her big ass in Wattson's face, sticking her tongue out as Luxray weakly stood up from the mist of dust and rumble.

"Lopunny, use [Baton pass] and let Dune finish the job," Helena said as Luxray charged towards Lopunny. "Luxray, this is our opportunity; use [Ice fang]!"

Lopunny concentrated for a moment and did a backflip as Dune walked into the field; both Pokemon clapped, and Dune instantly felt how Lopunny's +5 attack boost passed onto him; he felt as if he could destroy a building with an attack, and he could.

Dune smiled mockingly, with his sharp jaw and tooth sticking out as Luxray connected his [Ice fang]. It hurt like hell, but his pride wouldn't allow him to show how bad it hurt.

"Dune use [Dragon dance]; that Luxray won't be able to beat you even if he tried!" Said Helena, her shyness nowhere to be found now that she had the upper hand. "Luxray, use [Ice Fang] again! I promise you if you crit this, I'll take you to the daycare; this is our last chance!"

Dune extended his claws wide and performed his signature dance; his moves flowed like a river and the strength of a waterfall. As he finished, Luxray had already thrown himself at him in full force, bloodshot eyes.

'If this crits it's over, for the love of Arceous, let me survive.'

Luxray connected him [Ice Fang] on Dune's stomach; Dune felt how the icy fangs of Luxray stopped not even penetrating his scales; instead, his rough scales cut all over Luxray's face. Luxray stumbled back and stared at Dune one last time before fainting.

Wattson sighed; Luxray was nowhere near his ace Pokemon and was probably the weakest, but from what Brawly told him, it was the only check he had against Helena's gate.

"Luxray, you did enough; come back," Wattson said as Helena jumped up and down, praising Dune. Wattson ignored Helena's silly charade and took out a Pokeball.

"Kilowattrl, it's your turn." Freeing the Pokemon from its Pokeball, Kilowatrrl was an electric/flying Pokemon with black and yellow feathers who resembled a seagull. "Kilowattrl, use [Tailwind]"

"Dune, use [Slash]," Helena said yawning; from the few battles she had, once Dune had boosted himself with [Dragon dance], the battle was over, and now that Lopunny had passed her attack boost, not even the bulkiest physical walls could stop Dune now.

Before Kilowattrl could react, Dune had already launched himself towards it, and with his claw, Dune [Slashed] Kilowattrl to the ground.

Wattson just stared at the fainted Kilowattrl on the ground, buried in a crater with its shape. He expected Lopunny to boost herself up and then try to sweep his team; failing to acknowledge that Lopunny could use [Baton Pass] was a mistake and cost him the win.

"I guess it's over... but I can't give up, just now." Wattson took out an ultra-ball from his pocket and held it high in the air.

"This is my true ace, Manectric, go!" Wattson freed Manectric from its Pokeball; just like Luxray, Manectric was too big for its species, being slightly taller than Dune; the two Pokemon stared at each other, waiting for their trainer's orders.

"Dune, use [Bulldoze]," Helena orders, with a slightly lousy omen coming to her; due to her experience and knowledge, she had developed a kind of sixth sense for unfortunate events, that being one of the reasons she didn't resist when Dune initially attacked her if her Sixth sense didn't scream in alarm, it meant that wasn't bad for her.

As Dune stared at Manectric, he realized he had something around his neck. 'Wait, is that a collar? If it's his pet, it isn't that weird, but why does it have a gem in the middle? From what I remember, Wattson was never a slashy guy; could it be that...'

"Manectric, let's mega-evolve!" Now it was Wattson who was smirking; even if Luxray hadn't beaten Gabite, he still lowered his health enough to put him on a K.O range.

A flash of light came from Manectric collar and Wattson's wrist, and Manectric slowly coated himself in the light; from the outside, Helena and Dune could see how Manectric appearance changed, and once the mega-evolution process finished, Manectric now had a gigantic lighting on his back, constantly producing electricity.

Wattson inhaled as much air as his lungs allowed and shouted, "Manectric, use [Overheat]!".

Still in shock, Helena quickly ordered Dune to use [Bulldoze], but not even with [Dragon dance] boost in speed could Dune outspeed Manectric.

Dune stomped into the ground quickly, starting [Bulldoze]; as he did so, the world seemed to become slow motion; he saw how the cracks in the ground moved slowly towards Manectric. Dune stood still, seeing how his attack slowly moved toward the opposing Pokemon. As he raised his eyes, he noticed a gigantic mass of fire forming inside Manectric fangs, gradually getting bigger and bigger until it was shot faster than he could ever react.

Both attacks hit simultaneously; an enormous mass of fire exploded in contact with Dune as a sharp pillar of gravel shot into Manectric's stomach.

Both Helena and Wattson silently stare at the arena as the mist of dust clears; Dune is barely standing, with most of the scales on his body scorched black, breathing heavily as he stares at the unconscious body of Wattson's mega-manectric, even if he resisted [Overheat], taking a full-on attack from a particular attack focused mega-evolution was akin as taking a shot from a battle-ship cannon.

Wattson couldn't believe his eyes; he had trained Manectric as a special attacker, plus his comically absurd 150 special attacks at level 40 should have blown up Helena's Gabite, but here it was, standing still, staring at his soul.

Helena sighed in relief, seeing Dune alright, more or less; she gulped a chunk of saliva and raised her fist, challenging.

"Is that it Wattson? Bring it on!" Helena screamed at Wattson, bringing him back from his daydreaming.

"Yeah, sorry..." Wattson took out his last regular Pokeball and threw it on the field; the Pokemon released was a Rotom in his washing machine form, wearing some yellow, orange, and red glasses.

"I'm sorry I had to bring you out, Rotom... please survive-" Helena interrupted Wattson's speech. "Dune, use [Slash]!"

With the speed of a fighter jet, Gabite launched himself towards Rotom; the burned scales made it appear as if a shadow from hell itself was about to devour the poor Rotom.

Dune landed his [Slash] on Rotom; not only that, but it was a critical hit. Rotom was launched toward the same wall Luxray had been thrown into, and from afar, they could hear the machine Rotom had possessed breaking into pieces.

Rotom base form emerged from the rumble, short-circuiting before falling into the ground fainted.

"Yes! Yes!" Helena ran into the field and hugged Dune. "I love you, love you!" Helena repeated over and over as she pressed herself into Dune's body.

Dune, barely conscious, just accepted the praises and hugs from Helena; after she stepped back, Dune fell to the ground unconscious.

---

The following day, Dune woke up in a luxurious bed. Dune asked himself what had happened, and his memories quickly returned.

'No shit, I ate a [Overheat] from a mega-manectric, but nothing hurts, I think Helena took me to a Pokemon center or something; it doesn't really matter.

As always, Dune's system window popped up out of nowhere and covered most of his field of vision.

Dune smiled and decided to lay on the bed and rest a little longer; he had to reward Lopunny; if she didn't boost his attack stat, he couldn't possibly one-shot all of Wattson's Pokemon.

And if Dune had chanted a summoning spell, the door of his room was abruptly opened by Lopunny and Gardevoir.

Gardevoir was wearing a sexy doctor outfit, while Lopunny wore a traditional Playboy girl costume.

"Oh, this bad boy got beaten up and thinks he can escape giving me my reward, nuh uh. Gardi, is Dune healthy enough to fill his poor Lopunny as if I was thanksgiving Farfetch'd?"
