Capítulo 55: At All Cost  

I was woken up to Gabriel screaming in my ear and warning bells going off like crazy in my head.

Letting out a big yawn, I asked him what was going on.

"Vi'dta has thrown you out of a fighter craft, and you are currently plunging down to the planet," growled Gabriel, but I could hear the relief in his voice when he was finally able to get through to me.

"Did he inject me with anything?" I asked, still trying to fight through the fogginess. My brain was refusing to come online even now that I realized that I couldn't feel the air whipping past me. If I couldn't feel the air, then where was I?

Or was that just a benefit of the armor?

"He tried," replied Gabriel, and finally, the warning bells were silenced. "But the suit absorbed it. If it is any consolation, he was trying to kill you. Throwing you out of the fighter craft was just his way of hiding the body."
