Capítulo 7: Diverted

Frisk opens their eyes once again in a black space they feel something hit the top of their head they brush through their hair finding dust on their hand. They look up seeing a steady stream of it stepping back into something wet. Trembling they look down their feet in blood as they hear whispers.
"It's absurd" "were you alway's so capable?"
"Killing is too easy" "Is this place is making you a freak"
"It doesn't hurt to show mercy"
"Are you even Normal?"
Frisk covered their ears as dust came down from the ceiling and blood rose from the ground. Frisk shut their eyes tightly only to feel 2 hands on their shoulders they opened their eyes standing in a field of flowers they turned around and saw Chara "Greetings partner, You were doing quite well for yourself. You survived that little surprise You should feel proud! Don't you think? Avoided death due to their lack of experience and skill". " I... know I just want to leave... but I have a long way to go don't I...I don't know if I'll be the same," Frisk said honestly sitting down and looking as the void showed their reflection, Chara sighed but kept up their smile "You will change, it is unavoidable. You're gaining LOVE will make it easier to cut down your enemies...But You do have a choice and situations do matter...Morality and doing the right thing isn't as simple as Huma-.....people want it to so just do what you need to...." Chara grabbed their hand and lifted them "....Stay Determined and focus on why you have to keep moving forward" They said encouragingly Frisk nodded "Well your right I can handle this I'm fine" Chara let go and winked "see I'm glad you're getting it a little remember I'm always here...I don't mind if you rely on me" They snapped their fingers.

Frisk POV
I woke up my eyes felt cold I rubbed them until they felt a bit warmer got up and sighed.
"Hey Kiddo"
I jumped in surprise turning around to see Sans leaning against the sign "Did yah know if you go against blue attacks it's like a stop sign. Yah stay still" he explained I rolled my eyes 'Is he telling me this now on purpose? I'll make him uncomfortable' I thought before smiling "Hey Sans what are yah my stalker? I didn't think you felt that way"I say with a wink. Sans eyes went dark for a second before he just chuckled "Hehe adorable kid. Fine I'll be up ahead" He said walking into the trees out of my sight 'Got him good' I thought smirking as I skated North.
'You did flirting out of all things?'
'I taught him a fun lesson'
'....sure Partner'
I walked up to a snowman and dug into it snatching a piece.
*You took the snow piece...in the rudist way possible
"H-hey your supposed to ask first," The snowman said to my surprise I was going to apologize but something dark came to mind "Hey do residents of the underground acknowledge you" I asked tilting my head curiously "Well no the kids don't explore over here I just get glances and I get pointed out I was made before the town was built by the King" It explained to my twisted delight I stopped smiling as my gold eyes glowed slightly as I took another piece from him and pulled his carrot nose "why a-are you doing this? It asked "well as far as I'm concerned you'll be alone and abandoned when everyone leaves eventually....It's ok you'll just die once" I said before it was reduced to nothing. I shook my head and stepped back "...Why did I just do that hehe I should just go".
'.....seems like you have unresolved issues partner. Perhaps you have a...hidden twisted sense of kindness you developed....you don't know yourself either huh Frisk'
'I don't know the thought....or feeling just came to me...I'm sorry I'll ignore it next time'
I shuddered at the thought of that part of me existing in my head as I ran down skating across the ice with ease I went east seeing the 2 brothers up ahead I stopped at the edge of a flatter square patch of snow. "LOOK SANS THE HUMAN IS FINALLY HERE AFTER AGES. DO NOT FRET HUMAN I AM QUITE THE PATIENT SKELETON. A PART OF WHAT MAKES ME SO GREAT!" He said with great enthusiasm despite the supposed wait time he mentioned "FOR THIS PUZZLE IT'S SIMPLE PICK UP THAT SPHERE ON THE GROUND PLACE IT ON YOUR HEAD AND WALK ACROSS WITHOUT GETTING SHOCKED.yOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT?" he asked after explaining I nodded confidently placing the sphere on my head as I saw the faint footprints 'though I'm more confident because he definitely walked across to place the thing'. I walked across it leaving him stunned."AMAZING HUMAN PERHAPS YOU'RE A SECRET PUZZLE GENIUS BUT I KNOW YOU WON'T GET PAST THE NEXT!" He said running off no doubt to his next puzzle I couldn't help but feel happy around him. "You must love puzzles keep it up kiddo," He said before leaving I kept going coming across a slim blue monster leaning on a cart no doubt filled with precious healing foods. Though I was already pocket-filled I walked past him the environment flickered black as a pretty pathetic monster appeared.
* You encountered Jerry a non-threat
I brushed past him before he could say a word leaving him looking down and defeated going straight I came across 2 stations which meant I was no doubt going to get tag-teamed again I turned to go back spotting Sans eating Ice cream. He looked at me " Hey kid are yah not a big fan of ice cream?" He asked I walked past him "Hey kid watch your step!" He yelled before I could stop I tripped over a wire causing a hole to open under me My eyes widened as I fell screaming crashing on tree branch after tree branch until I hit the forest floor bruising my vision blurry and red from the blood from a cut on my forehead.
'strange'
I heard Chara say in my head Lucky for me there was a save point I grasped it my eyes sparkled.
*You are surrounded by trees that darken light but your emotions give you light You are filled with Determination HP fully restored
I started running through the forest at the side of the mountain my soul glowed as Axes cut through trees I had to slide and jump over each one my heart raced as I wondered if this was a complex trap or if the monsters in this deep forest were this out for blood for me. It didn't take long for me to figure it out as I saw a ladder back up to the path I jumped up. But suddenly I felt cold my vision split in 2.

I came back touching my face hyperventilating as I fell back on the ground "I.....m-my head w-was..." I bit my lip so hard it bled clenching my fist 'Monsters truly are conflicting but I can tough this out depending on what I'm dealing with'. I started running again reaching the ladder I turned around this time seeing the attacks coming I ducked and grabbed one of their arms as the other went for a swing AI let go falling to the ground as the axe grazed my other assailant. Taking advantage of the break I get up stepping back.
*You encounter Dogamy and Dogaressa
'This is getting strange someone must be urging the royal guard to get you quickly. Mercy is becoming quite the shrinking option partner'
'They brought it on themselves that much effort can't be talked down'
I stepped back as the 2 dogs faced me.
Dogaressa:"Sorry but since you are the last one we were told to give our all"
Dogamy"Though the smell of dust doesn't help your case kid"
They said their words before rushing at me from both sides swinging their axes with haste I ducked and backflipped over the other and tugged at Dogamy's ear the pain of my pull made him fall on his side I let go and kicked him away but felt a sharp stab in my back I winced as she kicked me down I fell face first into the snow. I got up and rushed up the ladder I heard something and jumped off avoiding another throwing Ax and kicked Dogaressa down and stabbed through her chest "Don't take my hate personally....you were just so good it backfired" I said pulling out the blade and swing it clashing with Dogamy's ax "I'll kill you for that kid!".
* Dogamy's attack went up
"for now she's just barely alive...if...you step back I'll....let this whole thing go ok! Are your orders really more important than the one you love?" I asked him as I saw his gaze fall on Dogaressa he fell back rushing to her 'I could take advantage and just cut him down but this isn't what I want'.
*You escaped
'I'm surprised but you handled it well'
'I wanted to but it was clear if I put one of them in critical condition they'd have to care enough to stop and heal up somewhere else'
I climbed the ladder back on top coming across a long bridge I started to walk across with a blank expression everything seemed peaceful for once but I saw the 2 brothers again Sans was asleep and Papyrus looked at me with surprise "YOU SHOWED UP HUMAN I'M SO GLAD I WAS WONDERING WHERE YOU WERE. SANS SAID YOU GOT LOST" I looked around seeing all the weapons and other things hanging in the air "DO NOT FRET HUMAN I CAN SEE IT ON YOUR FACE YOU MUST BE GREATLY TIRED. I WOULDN'T USE THESE ANYWAY" He said pressing a button as the things retracted back somewhere "I'LL BE WAITING TO BATTLE YOU WHEN YOUR IN PROPER SHAPE HUMAN" He grabbed Sans spinning out of sight. I smiled and walked across reaching a town I heard music that seemed to make everything fine.
I smiled walking by monsters all doing their own thing I grabbed a save point.
* You finally feel like you can relax the town's atmosphere fills you with Determination
I entered an INN and placed some gold on the counter "Can I please book a room for tonight?"I asked the receptionist gave me a sweet smile "Sure kid there's an open room" She handed me a key looking at the number I went upstairs and opened the door to the room I walked in and locked it flopping on the bed "hahahaha Oh I'm so glad I can relax" I said happily slipping under the cover closing my eyes drifting off to sleep.

Frisk was drifting on a raft of flowers basking in sunlight their gold eyes sparkled "I could stay like this forever" they whispered to themselves Chara lay next to them "I see you can still dream about the bright side of life even after dying again that's strange." They said as the raft fell from a waterfall ruining Frisk's relaxation they fell in the water.
Opening their eyes again they were back at the foot of MT. Ebott "What made you run away? Was it to take your life?.....I'm not sure that's the case anymore...I've been noticing these fun changes...Wake up".

I woke up and sighed rolling out of bed I picked myself up walking out 'If I keep moving forward maybe I won't have to deal with these conflicting memories' I walked out going downstairs I felt better than I did like I could take on the world.
'Next and probably easiest obstacle or would you call a friend? is Papyrus what will you do?'
'Making a doesn't sound so bad He's the coolest guy down here'
