Capítulo 62: Steph Stops the Madness

"Mom, I'm not staying here." Steph's brows furrowed and her arms were crossed over her stomach. "Who are these guys anyway? The pulled me out of class like I was a criminal or something."

Min Jun dismissed the two burly guys. 

"You are staying here. At least for a little while." Jessie gave Steph the short version of events to date.

  "But, Mom, what does this have to do with me? I'm just a high school kid. I'm lucky if my teachers notice me, never mind a stranger."

"Steph, I'm putting my foot down on this subject. You are staying here." Min Jun said. "Security will take you to school and pick you up. Give me a hard time, and they will be stationed next to your desk and frisk your friends before they can speak with you. Fight that, and I'll hire you tutors to home school you. As your stepfather, I have a responsibility to keep you safe, and as a minor, you have no choice but to listen to your mom and me."
