Capítulo 13: The joining

"How can one so beautiful turn out so mean?", Norman posed the question as he set watching Tinashe put on a tie and jacket to complete the suit he was wearing. Norman who was dressed in a navy blue designer suit stood looking impatient with his pockets in his hands.

"You were asking for it?", returned Tinashe.

"I only complimented the lady on her looks, when did paying a compliment become a sin", Norman asked incredulously. She could have at least given me a hint if she that was how she truly felt".

Tinashe smiled at his friend and sprayed breath freshener into his mouth. "Instead of going at me the way she did!, Norman proceeded.

"But she did, she gave you

you a warning, though a bit subtle", corrected Tinashe turning away from the length sized mirror to face his friend.

"Subtle!", remarked Norman, "now there's an understatement, she basically ignored me",
