Capítulo 8: Reconciliation

"Tinashe, why are you avoiding me?", asked Bere as he walked up to Tinashe. Tinashe standing outside Marova Manor, admiring the well manicured lawns inter-spaced with a colourful flowers arrangements outside the house.

"Maybe I just don't want to talk to you. At this moment I 'm just so disgusted by you.

"I know it's about the matter with that girl Tariro. I did what I did not because I harbour any hatred towards the girl but because love you a little too much. There I have said it", returned Bere.

"How could you accuse her of crime she did not commit, knowing fully well that she was innocent!?", asked Tinashe angrily.

"I 'm truly sorry about that, I admit I went overboard in my attempt to clear your name. There is nothing in the world, and I mean nothing I would not do to, resort to any trick no matter how low to protect you, and for that, for loving you I make no apology", Bere said looking Tinashe straight in the eye.
