Chris felt a tug on his subconscious. What was this? He sat up as he felt his wolf growl inside of him. He was still pissed about him rejecting their mate. He felt the tugging continue until his wolf took over.

'We're dying. We need you. If you truly still want us, get your human to move. I don't know how much longer we can last.'

Then she was gone. What the hell was happening? He walked out of his house, careful not to be seen by his father or anyone on patrol. He went into the trees and changed. He ran as fast as he could towards that pull. He should never have let his human reject their mate. It wasn't too late. She hadn't accepted his rejection. He just had to get to her before the worst happened and he never got to see her again.
