Imani thought the wolf was still far behind her as she got to a clearing that had a giant circle with markings in it in the ground but she was proven wrong when she felt something hard knock her sideways from behind. "Ah," she cried out when she hit the ground and pain shot up the leg that had been throbbing before as the wolf let out a low growl.

She instantly fixed her eyes on the wolf as it sniffed the air and jerked its head back before tilting its head at her. It moved its head forward and sniffed again as it tried to figure out if she was a wolf because Lucas' scent was on her. He sniffed one more time and its fangs peeked out of its mouth when it realized she was human while Imani whimpered on the floor.
