Capítulo 131: PREPARING THE BIRTHDAY PARTY

"Honey, how come you're up at this hour?" Hayam approached his wife who was in the kitchen. It's still four in the morning. His wife was awake and busy cooking in the kitchen. 

Hayam was surprised because it was Saturday. His wife and children should be more relaxed. Moreover, Lia did not go to school. 

Vania turned and smiled at her husband. She made mentai beef with grilled rice. "Today there is a competition at Lia's school, dear," said Vania. "I already told you yesterday." 

"Is that true? I forgot," Hayam scratched his head. He stepped closer to the refrigerator and took the box of cold milk from there. 

"I've been telling you for a long time, you know," said Vania. He wore a sullen expression. "You've made time for Lia, haven't you?" 

"Today I did take a day off. I think we will go to the mall like that, "explained Hayam. "We haven't looked for a birthday present for Lia and Tian either."
