Capítulo 44: Chapter 44 Conflicted

My pink chucks hurriedly padded on the cobblestone, almost tripping from time to time as he was practically dragging me back towards the car, his stormy irises constantly checking our surroundings, seeming like he was checking if we were being followed or something.

I violently jerked my arm away from his grip, taking a step back as I was already feeling extremely aggravated by his "man-handling".

"Will you stop dragging me around like I'm your disobedient puppy?" I loudly shouted in annoyance, dropping my shopping bags in the process, noticing how he quickly spun around to face me, guilt and sorrow glinting in his deep oceans, noticing the deep frown plastered all over my features.

"I'm sorry, I..." He sighed.

"Let's just go back, okay?" He pleaded in a soft tone, attempting to take a step towards me but I quickly took another step back, crossing my arms, vehemently refusing his pleading.

"No! I'm not going anywhere! Not until you explain me what the hell was that!"
