"I'm sorry, but he has to go."

Milk and Cookie—no, Miki—clings to my arm, her grip tight. 

"Why can't he stay?" she asks, her voice pleading. 

Before the man can respond, Carrie jumps in. "What the hell, wasn't it you guys who said no outsiders at the match? Just kick him out so we can start."

I shift my arm, trying to break free from Miki's hold. Her chest brushes against me. It's… distracting, but I'm not in the mood to deal with this craziness. "You're getting a little close there, don't you think?"

She just smiles. "I know."

...Why am I even bothering?

Carrie crosses her arms over her flat chest. "So, the prize money. Is it real?"

The man nods, glancing at Miki. "We didn't initiate this, and we don't want to. But our little sister insists. And she'd hate for it to be unfair."

One of his guys steps forward, a black case in hand. 

"Want to see the prize yourself?"
