Sachi: class is about to start and Kaneki still isn't here.
Chikao: where did he went off to now? I'm worried.

(Where did Kaneki go to? I'm worried, what if he got caught by them?!)
Since Kaneki left the Karaoke party and hasn't returned yet so Sachi, Chikao and Natsuki gotten a bit worried. The same can be said with Yuuka and Shino.
Shino and Yuuka's thoughts*
(Is Kaneki alright?! Is he safe?!)
Pretty much all of the girls Kaneki hangs out with are worried. Well besides his sister of course.
Miku's thoughts*
(I hope Onii-chan would enjoy the food I made him and hopefully he takes the bento I made for him as well)
Before leaving school Miku prepared some scrambled and sunny side up egg breakfast for Kaneki in case he comes back.
Miku also prepared Kaneki his own bento box with the food that she made.
(I just hope Onii-chan would get here in time)
Querxes: hey everyone! Since I got here early we'll wait until the bell rings before we start our class activities.
With Querxes coming in early and class was about to start and with Kaneki still not appearing it made Miku worry a little but she just shrugged it off thinking "it's alright he will probably eat the bento I made him at home"
After a few minutes class was about to start.
But then suddenly.
Querxes: alright he's nearby already.
Querxes suddenly got up from his seat and went to one of the windows and opened it.
Everyone was quite curious on what Querxes was doing.
Keiko: Sensei! Why are you opening the window? We have air conditioners.
Querxes: nothing just letting him it.
Everyone: wh-

Before everyone could ask a little someone came crashing in.
Kaneki: hehehe~ am I late?
Kaneki arrived although his head was steaming quite a lot and his voice was a bit distorted.

Querxes: wow, you look pretty tired, well that's what you get for missing training with Kiryu Sensei.

Querxes: alright go take your seat Kaneki class is about to start.

With that Kaneki went and sat down in his seat.

With the bell ringing class has officially started.
Sachi: you seriously almost got absent Kaneki where were you?
When Kaneki sat down Sachi immediately whispered to him and started a conversation.
Kaneki: hehe~ sorry I was training for the entire night.
Chikao: now I understand why you said those words about my cooking yesterday.

Itsuki: so did you have breakfast yet?
Kaneki: yup! My sister cooked me breakfast today and it was great! I'm really proud!

Querxes: you kids stop talking!
All 5: sorry.
All 5 of them were caught.
Natsuki's thoughts*
(He looks really happy today, it must be Miku's cooking, he really likes it when someone he likes cooks for him, I know! I'll cook for him later after school too!)
Natsuki decided to cook for Kaneki.
(Anyways it's time to see his soul again)
Natsuki used her ability to see the colors of Kaneki's soul once again.
(Ahh~ so beautiful even the dark colors are beautiful)
She was staring directly at Kaneki but she also moved her gaze away immediately to not get any attention.
Querxes: Alright, everyone listen up! I have an announcement regarding the W.S.S.F!
Everyone payed attention to Querxes when he said that.
Querxes: you kids need to get a partner today.
Everyone: huh?
Ryueki raised his hand so he can ask a question.
Ryueki: for what Sensei?
Querxes: W.S.S.F have some extreme sports but they also have some normal sports one of them being a 3 legged race.
Natsuki: really?
Querxes: correct, so you kids to get a partner to attend the 3 legged race.
Sachi: but we have 21 students in our class, so one of us would be left alone.
Querxes: it's alright, if one of you does get left out you'll be automatically be partnered with someone else who didn't get a partner in Class 1-B.
Kaneki: really?
Querxes: yup, you kids got until training begins to get your partner so be quick.
Hearing that everyone started asking their classmates.
Querxes: well, I guess I should've told them later at training but oh well, but seriously why are the girls going to Itadori-kun?
Well most of the girls were asking Ryueki to be their partner except for Sachi, Shino, Yuuka, Miku, Chikao and Natsuki.
Although pretty much all of the girls who wanted to be partnered with Ryueki was rejected by him.
???: aaahhh~ I wanted to be his partner.
???: what a cruel world~!
The boys were pretty annoyed at that sight.
After that Ryueki went to Natsuki and asked her.
Ryueki: Hey Natsuki do you wa-
Before he could even finish asking her Natsuki immediately rejected him.
Ryueki: Eh? Bu-
Natsuki: I said I don't want to.
Natsuki rejected him again so he backed off.
Ryueki's thoughts*
(It's alright, I can just ask the other Sub-heroines, if I get partnered with them Natsuki would get jealous and ask to be my partner)
He thought the "Sub-heroines" don't have any partners so he asked them although he was in for a surprise.
Shino: Sorry Itadori-kun but I'm already partnered with Yuuka.
Yuuka: sorry, maybe next time.
Ryueki: oh alright...
(The hell?! The Sub-heroines are supposed to be rivals and in this situation they should be fighting over who gets to be my partner!)
He didn't understand what's going on so he tried asking Miku but...
Miku: sorry Ryu-Oniichan but I already have someone in mind to be my partner.
Ryueki: eh? Really?
Miku: yeah, sorry. Maybe next time.
Ryueki then walked away defeated.
(Dammit! Dammit! What's going on?! My story is not going the way I intended it to go!)
He was frustrated due to his "story" not going in his favor.
So he had no choice but to accept one of the girls who asked him.
???: yay! I'm with Ryu-kun!
Ryueki: I hope we can get along.
Even though he said those words he was very displeased.
Sachi: Let's do our best Chi-chan.
Chikao: I'll be relying on you Sachi.
Sachi and Chikao were partners with each other.
And they were very confident.
Natsuki in the other hand.

(I want to be partnered with Kaneki but it seems that Miku wants to be his partner, I shall allow it. I'll just hope I end up with someone good from class 1-B later)
She decided to not get a partner in her class and take her chances with Class 1-B.
And as for Kaneki.
Miku: can you please be my partner?
He was being asked by Miku.
Kaneki: are you sure Tachibana-san? I'm very quick in both running and walking so you might not catch up.
Miku: please? I promise I'll try my best. I'll give you pudding!
Seeing how desperate his sister is to being his partner Kaneki had no choice but to accept.
Kaneki: fine, I accept.
Miku: yay!
Kaneki: but, you don't need to get me pudding, as much as I like it I don't want you to used your money on me.
Miku: alright thanks!
Kaneki: another thing, don't complain if you can't keep up and get hurt when we train got it?
Though he may sound cold he just didn't want his sister to be hurt.
Miku: got it! Thanks! Higanbana-kun or Kane-chan.
Kaneki was shocked to hear that.
Kaneki: K-Kane-chan?
Miku: well we're friends right? So I'm giving you a nickname.
Kaneki: i-i see but why chan?
Miku: it's because you look like a girl.
Kaneki: 💢 are you mocking me?
Kaneki got a little mad when Miku said that.
Miku smiled and said.
Miku: I'll be in your care later, let's do our best.
She then sat on her seat.

(Yeah something is off what is Miku up to?)
He knew something is up but didn't exactly know what.

(I can't wait, Onii-chan and I will become the best duo later!)
She was overjoyed to be partnered with her brother and is excited to train with him.
