Capítulo 210: Shirogane family's story (2)
After meeting his great aunt Kaneki was shocked after hearing that the Shirogane family has a hint, Kaneki wanted to know but before he could he had to do two things: listen to his great aunt's story and do a rite of passage.
Which he accepted.
Yukiya: now listen carefully.
Ryueki: hey are we going to listen too?
Kaneki gazed at him with a slight angry face.
Yukiya: no need to worry Kaneki-chan, since they're helping you they can listen as long they keep this story a secret.
Sachi: don't worry! I won't tell anyone.

A long time ago when i was around 9 me and my sister lived with our parents who were very strict and they always had high expectations for us.
I couldn't meet those expectations so i always get treated good. If i couldn't meet those expectations they wouldn't let me do certain things like eat.
???: If you can't make it to top 10, then you're are not allowed to eat!
Yukiya: Papa! I'm sorry! Please let me ea-

???: don't you dare raise your voice at your father! You hear me?!
Yukiya: Mama...
They'd always put me through extreme punishments like that and i would always go cry in the only place where i couldn't get hurt.
Shiho: it's alright Yuki, your Onee-sama is here. Here you can have half of my curry
Yukiya: sob* t-thank you Onee-sama. hic!
Shiho: it's alright, even though you couldn't get to top 10 you tried your best, my sister is a genius.

My elder twin sister was always there to comfort me she was the only one i truly loved and i wanted her to be praise me more.
She was a genius in our family being an honor student in all subjects is very amazing and her craftsmanship is one of the best.
She was my inspiration so i wanted to be as great as her but when i told her that she said something i can never forget.

Shiho: sigh~ honestly it's really difficult most of our family has expectations for us since both of us our candidate's for being the bride of a Demon Knight when we grow older.

Shiho: i honestly don't want to marry the Demon Knight Yurie. He might be as old as us currently but we know nothing about him.

Honestly when she said that it was very embarrassed.

Shiho: hee~ it's alright, but i don't want you to he like me in order to get my praise, instead become a better version of yourself.

Shiho: and you should know I'm always proud t be your sister, you're a good girl after all.
When she said that i cried then i hugged her.
And after that i tried finding ways to make me the best version of myself.
So i tried doing many things that could help like cleaning, cooking, washing things and many more but even after a few years i wasn't improving much,that was until.
I got to our forge, our family business was forging weapons like swords and Guns for the government.
No one was there but me and i came across a Sword and that is where i got the idea to make weapons.
At that time i was around 15. And because of all the physical work i did it was able to carry heavy loads of metal and i began thinking of a weapon that i could create and one day i actually started making weapons.
It took almost of day of creating a metal that could be used to make a blade but it was able to perfect it.
After i made the weapon i had to imbue it with powers and there i actually imbued it with my abilities and there i finished my very first weapon.
Flashback cut*
Yukiya: and i still have that weapon to this day. Here look.
Yukiya reached her hands and said.
Yukiya: Lovee axe.
A pink flame came out of her hand and it revealed the Love axe.
Yuuka: woah.
Kaneki: Sheesh.
Yukiya: i know right? I made this axe as a symbol for the love i had for Onee-sama but.

When i was going to show it to Onee-sama at her room, i heard her crying inside her room.
All i could here is "i don't want to marry the Yurei i want to Marry Ko-kun but my parents are forcing me to do so, please help me Ko-kun"
She was talking to someone named Ko-kun which i assume is your grandfather Kaneki-chan.
After that call i thought i should leave her alone but then. The next day.
Someone came to our house unannounced.
It was the current Demon Knight at the time Yurie. He 15 years old as well but he confronted my parents about something and it was regarding Onee-sama.
???: Yurei-sama you're here to visit Shiho right follow u-
Yurei: The Shirogane family will no longer be working for the Demon Knight's.
Flashback cut*
Kaneki: wait the Shirogane family is the family that serves the Demon Knight's?!
Yukiya: yes for many generations. But it had ended on that day

???: what why?! Yurei-sama please reconsider your bri-
Yurei: i am not going to marry her.
???: why not?!
Yurei: a friend of mine told me about everything you two put those girls through and that you two forced Shiho to marry me unwillingly.
Both parents: !!!
Yurei: the Shirogane family on this day will no longer be serving the Demon Knights.
Both of my parents were very frustrated normally they would come vent that frustration on me Yurei said something that stopped them from doing anything like that again.
Yurei: Shiho Shirogane had run away last night with the person she truly loves.
Both parents: !!! What?!
Yurei: don't bother finding them and also if you try to hurt her sister I'll make sure both of you would be punished with the most cruelest deaths imaginable.
That scared my parents and made them not willing to hurt me anymore but they were still mean to everyone else.

Yukiya: and so that's when the Shirogane family stopped serving the Demon Knight's.
Kaneki: i see... But what happened to my great-grandparents?
Yukiya: around the time my Shiho over there was just 6 years old she challenged her grandfather so she could be the family head. And as you can see.
Shiho: i won.
Everyone: Scary.
Yukiya: so you probably understand a bit more of your Grandma right?

Yukiya: she probably wanted to leave her past behind her.

Yukiya: she probably never mentioned me at all too huh?

Kaneki: when my family visited her when dad remarried she told me about a woman that she's very proud of. If I'm guessing she was talking about you.
Yukiya went silent hearing that. And then she cried.
Yukiya: sobbing*
Shiho: Mama?!
Yukiya: no, it's alright. Kaneki-chan remember keep this story a secret okay?
Kaneki: i will.
Yukiya: good, you kids over there too keep it a secret alright?
Everyone: we will!
Ryueki: ...
Yukiya: alright then, Kaneki-chan do you really want to find the Crown of Urizen?
