Capítulo 181: Saved by the Hero
After teaching Natsuki how to cook curry Yuuka decided to go shopping for cookie ingredients.
Yuuka: alright I need to get: Chocolate chips, flour, eggs, brown sugar, normal sugar, butter, baking powder, baking soda, vannila and salt. Alright! I will definitely make Cookie's that Kaneki will enjoy!
Yuuka was planning to bake Kaneki cookies after what happened in their arcade date in the previous day.
Yuuka: alright! Time to go!
And so she locked her house and went shopping for groceries.
A while later*
She arrived at the grocery store.
Yuuka: okay time to get the Ingredients.
Yuuka went around the grocery store and bought all the necessary ingredients and after buying all the necessary ingredients she walked home.
Yuuka: Haa~ seriously this is so much! And home is so far away! It's so hot!
She only brought enough money to get to the grocery store and getting the ingredients for the cookies.
She was also wearing casual clothes so her skin was getting hit by intense sunlight.
Yuuka's thoughts*
(This really sucks why did I even wore these clothes? How are other Gyaru's able to handle this much heat?! I hate this!)
Yuuka: I seriously regret becoming a Gyaru this sucks. I wonder if there's any shortcut I could take?
She looked around and saw an alley that would shorten the distance between her and her house and also provided shade.
Yuuka's thoughts*
(This is a bad idea. But if I don't get back soon the butter will melt)
Yuuka: Sigh~ what a pain.
Because the butter might melt soon she decided to go through the alley.
(This seriously is a bad idea! I feel like I'm being watched!)
There were a lot of guys in the alley so she was worried.
???: hey girl what brings you here?
And she was right to worry.
Because some guys came up to her.
Yuuka: nothing just passing through, so don't mind me and get out of my way.
Step*
???: I don't think you'll be going anywhere little miss.
(This is so bad!)
???: c'mon let's have some fu-
???: all units be advised the suspects surrounded a teenage highschool girl. The area has been surrounded by me.
A voice then came out of nowhere.
???: what?!
???: what's going on?!
(What was that just now?!)
???: I've heard a lot of rumors in school about an alley where some creeps tried to capture some young girls here, who knew the rumors were true?
???: who was that?!
Yuuka: Please help me!
???: you bitch! Quick! Grab the her and use her as hostag-
Hero: Don't move if you wish to live.
(It's him again!)
Yuuka: Hero...
Hero: I suggest you all surrender now and save me the trouble.
???: like hell!
One of the creeps grabbed a metal pipe.
???: Take this!
And he swung it to the Hero's head.
Crack!
???: !!!
Yuuka: are you alright?!
Hero: I said... DONT... MOVE!
All the creeps: R-RUN!
Swoosh!
Thwack!
The hero Knocked them all out in a single blow.
Hero: sign~ and here I thought Shimotsuki is peaceful. I guess I have some cleaning up to do. So hey are you alright?
Yuuka: Uhhh Y-Yes I am! Thank you for saving me!
Hero: why are you here in this alley in the first place?
Yuuka: well... I have some groceries here and some of them might melt if I didn't get home soon so I had to take a short cut.
Hero: ... In that case I'll guide you back to your home.
Yuuka: No thanks! I can do i-
Hero: I'm guiding you.
Yuuka: you're going to keep insisting huh?
Hero: yes.
Yuuka: fine then.
Hero: what exactly are the groceries that would melt I can keep them cool for you until the police arrives.
Yuuka: how are you-
Hero: just give it to me.
Yuuka: okay here it's butter.
She handed the butter to the Hero.
Hero: alright then here we go.
The Hero's arm then became icey blue and cold.
And so the butter went hard again.
Hero: alright when the police gets here you could tell them what happened and then I'll guide you back. To your home.
Yuuka: okay thank you Mr. Hero.
Hero: ...
After a while the police came and arrested the creeps. Yuuka told them what happened and with The Hero Being there all the Creeps were jailed up to 2 years for attempted assault and fine 300,000¥ each.
And after what happened the Hero guided Yuuka to her home.
Yuuka: hey thanks for saving me back there.
Hero: ...
And Yuuka was trying to talk to the Hero
Yuuka: by the way thanks for saving me like 2 weeks ago too I really appreciate it.
Hero: no problem.
Yuuka: by the way why do you wear different mask and why does your hairstyle and color change everytime you make an appearance?
Hero: Sigh~ I wear a different mask and I have different hairstyles and color everytime just so no one would figure out my identity.
Yuuka: figures but I can understand that. By the way what are your abilities?
Hero: that is classified.
Yuuka: of course. By the way me and some friends are finding a Demon Knight Relic the Crown of Urizen. It's very powerful.
Hero: good for you. But why are you trying to start a conversation?
Yuuka: hey I have nothing to do for rest of the day so I'm bored.
Hero: I see. Well we're here.
They arrived at Yuuka's house.
Yuuka: thanks- wait how did you know this was my house?
Hero: no comment.
Yuuka: well, thank you again for saving me back there and can I have my butter?
Hero: here.
The hero gave her back the butter.
Yuuka: Thanks.
Hero: alright then. I'm out and another thing.
Yuuka: what is it?
Hero: Stop going through alley's! Seriously there's some shady stuff that's happening in there.
Yuuka: I won't do it again.
Hero: you promise?
Yuuka: yup! I promise.
Hero: Good.
Swoosh!
The Hero then disappeared.
Yuuka: well he's gone, well I guess I should take a break now.
And so Yuuka went inside her home.
On top of a roof near Yuuka's house*
Hero: seriously your getting into trouble more frequently.
Kaneki is more worried about Yuuka after what happened earlier.
Kaneki: you may be a fake and I can't see your face but... I can't just abandon you like that... Stay safe... My dear best friend...
Swoosh!
He then left entirely.
Many hours later*
Yuuka: Finally! Done!
After taking a break for a few hours she baked the cookies but.
Yuuka: Wait... WHY IS IT JUST ONE GIANT COOKIE!
She forgot to cut the cookie dough into smaller cookies and in turn making one big cookie in the shape of a shield.
Yuuka: I'M AN IDIOT!!!
