Capítulo 238: Grandparents support
After getting to Lake Biwa Museum to meet up with Kaneki's grandparents, Yuuka came in for a surprise because as she thought they were giving her a quiz for the "hint" instead she learns that Both Haruto and Shiori knows about what she has done to Kaneki.
And now she is panicking.
Yuuka's thoughts*
(H-How did they know? I never told Shiori-san about that at all! How is this possible?)
Yuuka: GASP! GASP! GASP!
Yuuka began hyperventilating.
(This isn't good! At this rate they'll tell Kaneki's parents! And if that happens i might not be able to see him again!)
Yuuka: GASP!
Haruto: Whats wrong?! Are you okay?
Shiori: breathe Yuuka-chan breathe. Here water calm down.
Surprisingly both Haruto and Shiori were worried about her and offered her water.
Haruto: breathe, calm down, we're sorry I said that out of nowhere. We'll talk when you calmed down
Yuuka: O-O-Okay. Haa~! Haa~!
Shiori: here drink!
Yuuka: thanks!
5 minutes later*
After 5 minutes Yuuka calmed down.
Yuuka: Haa~! Sorry for how I acted earlier.
Shiori: no, we should be apologizing, we've seriously messed up for putting that question out of nowhere.
Haruto: but seriously can you tell us why?
Yuuka: but aren't you two mad?
Yuuka was worried because she thought they were mad.
Shiori: ehh~ not really, we don't know th full story on why anyways, we're not the type of people who would judge without any good reason.
Haruto: if you don't want to tell is it's fine. We don't want to end up hurting you.
Yuuka: are you sure?
Haruto: yeah, you did looked very guilty for whatever you've done so it must be very bad so we won't bother you with that. We'll get you the "hint" you two were finding.
Haruto then stood up from his seat.
(They aren't angry? Even after they knew of what I've done? And they even were concerned about me getting hurt? I don't understand I've hurt their family why are they doing this?)
Yuuka: why?
Haruto & Shiori: hmm? What is it?
Yuuka: why are you concerned about me getting hurt? And why aren't you angry at me after I've hurt your grandson?
Haruto: well, it's because you're Kaneki's best friend.
Yuuka: Huh?
Yuuka got confused.
Shiori: Kaneki clearly doesn't hate you do we won't as well, and we don't hate you since Kaneki looked like he was enjoying his time with you today. And that definitely means you're trying to fix your relationship with him correct?
Yuuka: ???
Haruto: yeah, the fact you made him happy today is proof that you didn't really want to hurt him and your trying to fix your relationship with him.
Yuuka: b-but-
Shiori: as long Kaneki doesn't hate you, we won't as well got it?
Yuuka: ...
Shiori: c'mon let's get that "hint" you kids were trying to find. Oh yeah, once we get back to the hotel don't tell Kaneki about this he'll definitely end up killing us.
Haruto: haha! Real funny granny he won't kill us.
They all went inside the museum to get the hint.
(I still can't believe it they know what I've done yet just because Kaneki doesn't hate me they won't too? What's with that? And more importantly how did they know?)
Shiori: so Yuuka let me ask you something.
Yuuka: what is it?
Shiori: are you really a virgin?
Yuuka: of course I am!, didn't I already told you this earlier this morning?
Shiori: hehe~ sorry, since the way you acted earlier I thought well... You know?
Yuuka: I don't know exactly what you mean but I can assure you that's not the case.
Shiori: I see.
Haruto: hehe~ sorry for granny here being like that, she's always like that.
Yuuka: sigh~
Haruto: if you're worried that we'll tell Kaneki's father be rest assured we won't.
Yuuka: what? Really?
Haruto: well knowing him, after Tohru-chans death he blamed himself for not being able to protect her and Kaneki so he'll definitely be very mad if he'd learn this.
Yuuka: I know that alright. Yuuka by the way why here in the museum? Aren't we supposed to get the "hint"?
Shiori: we are, me and grampa bought a small part of the museum so we can store some of our family's things.
Haruto: correct, I did forget that we've put it here but good thing I remembered.
Yuuka: but wouldn't someone try to steal it?
Shiori: not really, this Museum's security system is made by Demon knight Yurie if anyone tries to steal here even with they won't be able to move unless they want to become a statue here in the museum.
Yuuka: !!! But what about us?!
Haruto: don't worry, since we own a part in this Museum the security system won't see us as intruders. Anyways we're almost at our secret vault.
Yuuka: okay?
They then got to the secret vault.
Haruto: here it is!
Yuuka: ... This is just a statue of Demon Knight Hiragi.
Haruto: just look.
Haruto went towards Demon Knight Hiragi's statue and twisted it's left leg.
Rumble!
Yuuka: what the-?!
The statue moved and revealed a hole with stairs heading down.
Haruto: alright, I'll be going down you girls wait here.
Yuuka: okay?
Shiori: got it hon!
Haruto them went down the hole heading to the vault.
Yuuka: ...
Shiori looked at Yuuka's face and noticed she was troubled.
Shiori: hey Yuuka-chan.
Yuuka: what?
Shiori: I know you can fix your relationship with Kaneki, so do everything you can.
Yuuka: what?
Shiori: I can tell from what I've seen today he definitely enjoyed being with you, if you think he's faking it just know he genuinely had fun.
Yuuka: ... I will fix my relationship with him and I'll do it by the time we get the Crown.
Shiori smiled hearing Yuuka say that.
Shiori: alright, just know both me and Haruto believe in you.
Yuuka: I'm glad you both don't hate me and thank you for giving me your support.
Shiori: you're welcome!
Yuuka: bu-
Haruto: Hey! I got the hint!
Haruto came back and got a big stone tablet that looks to be cut in half.
Haruto: here it is, but is this it?
Yuuka looked carefully then looked at the picture of the other half that they already got.
Yuuka: that's definitely what we were trying to find!
Haruto: great! You can have it.
Haruto then handed over the stone tablet to Yuuka.
Yuuka: thanks.
Shiori: alright, let's head back to the hotel shall we?
Haruto: yeah, let's go.
Yuuka: ... Yeah.
Haruto: I wonder what Kaneki and the chefs made for dinner?
Shiori: knowing him he probably made some very tasty food with the chefs.
Yuuka: ...
(I'll definitely fix my relationship with him if I don't then... I guess there would be no point of living)
With Yuuka getting the Second half of the hint for the Crown of Urizen, she and Kaneki's grandparents are heading back to obthe hotel but there was one thing still stuck in her mind.
(But who told them about Kaneki's and my situation?)
