Capítulo 339: Gathering evidence (1)
After Millie invited Shino and Yuuka to join her group with the intention of using them, Shino and Yuuka began following Kaneki's plan and started getting closer to her.
And meanwhile.
Sachi: So Chi-chan, Kaneki do you two want to be in my group for cooking class later?
Kaneki: sure.
Chikao: sure.
They already established a group, But suddenly Kaneki remembered something important.
Kaneki's thoughts*
(Oh crap! I promised Miku that we'll make some desserts together today!)
Kaneki recklessly joined Sachi's group and forgotten about Miku, just then.
Itsuki: you guys will need a 4th member in your group.
Kaneki: eh? Why?
Itsuki: I don't know, Querxes sensei just told me.
(Thank you sensei!)
Sachi: so who should we get in our group?
Miku: can I join your group Sa-chan.
Sachi: eh?! Really? Are you sure?
Miku: yup, I do have a suggestions on what desserts we can make later.
Sachi: what do you two say?
Chikao: let's do it.
Kaneki raised his arms up.
Sachi: I'll take that as a yes.
Miku was then accepted into the group.
Chikao: let's make some tasty desserts later.
Sachi & Miku: I can't wait!
Kaneki: are we making pudding?
All 3: No!
Kaneki: aww~ poop.
The 4 of them then started discussing on what dessert they'll make, and then Querxes came in the room.
Querxes: alright everyone! Take your seats!
As everyone started to take their seats Miku told her group.
Miku: let's make the best dessert later!
Before going back to her seat.
Seeing how happy Miku was made Kaneki happy.
Kaneki's thoughts*
(Good she's happy, I hope we can make some good desserts)
And as for Natsuki.
Natsuki's thoughts*
(I'm glad Miku is smiling again , although I do wanted to be in the same group as Kaneki.)
Natsuki was happy that Miku is smiling again but she couldn't help but feel disappointed to not be in the same group as Kaneki.
But.
(But there's always next time! And besides I already have some plans for when I visit Kaneki's house after school!)
She was still positive since she's visiting Kaneki's home anyways.
And the class went on as usual up until lunch break.
In the rooftop*
Kaneki: Mhhh~ shoo~ gwood.
Natsuki: aren't you speaking with your mouth full a bit too often now Kaneki?
Sachi: yeah, it's honestly really odd.
Chikao: you usually speak when you swallow your food.
Kaneki: gulp! I can't help but express how delicious this food is okay?! Don't judge me.
All 3: yeah yeah.
Natsuki: by the way, do you think those two can do it?
Sachi: yeah, I can't help but worry that they'll mess up.
Chikao: yeah, same here.
The 3 couldn't help but worry about Shino and Yuuka since those two are the ones who are watching Millie the closest.
Kaneki: I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried, but I have faith in them, I think they can do it.
Sachi: you think so?
Kaneki: yup.
Meanwhile*
In a storage unit, Shino and Yuuka were waiting for someone.
Shino: why would she invite us here?
Yuuka: who knows? But she did say she wanted to discuss something.
Suddenly she came in.
Millie: hello you two!
Millie came in.
Shino: so what is it do you want to discuss?
Millie: I'll be straightforward and tell you immediately, I'm here to help you two claim Ryueki-kun.
Shino & Yuuka's thoughts*
(Alright, act as if you're interested)
Shino: really? How?
Yuuka: I'm curious.
Millie: to put simply we need to get Miku out of the stage.
Shino: Huh? Why?
Millie: you two don't like her right? And the only reason you two are acting like loving big sister's to her is because you want to look good in front of Ryueki right?
Shino & Yuuka: yeah that's right.
Millie: well, you don't need to do that anymore because I have a plan.
Shino: what is it?
Yuuka: what plan?
Millie: to put simply, we're going to make her jealous and expose her.
Shino and Yuuka made a confused look on their face.
Shino: what do you mean expose?
Millie: well, that's because I know why she likes Ryueki-kun.
Yuuka: Huh what?
Millie: the reason why she likes him was because he looked like her late brother who died in an accident because of her.
(We already know that)
Millie: if we make her jealous enough, to the point she starts crying, let's tell everyone about the reason she likes Ryueki and you two will have an advantage.
Shino: I see, I'm in. It's better to eliminate my rivals after all.
Yuuka: agreed, we're just acting as her friends after all.
Millie: good, well then I'll see you girls later in cooking class, and by the way Ryueki is in our group.
And then, Millie left.
Millie's thoughts*
(Heh! That was easy, even if their friends with her and Higanbana, those girls are still love rivals and I can use that to my advantage! My parents will be so happy!)
Millie was overjoyed as she thought she got herself some useful pawns.
After waiting and looking around to make sure she was gone the two dropped their act.
Yuuka: wow, she really is desperate huh?
Shino: anyways let's send the recording to Kaneki.
Yuuka: got it.
The two secretly started recording their interaction with Millie, when she entered the storage unit and after she left they ended the recording.
And so they sent their recording to Kaneki so it can be used as evidence against Millie.
Back in the rooftop*
Kaneki: alright, next class is cooking class!
Natsuki: do your best everyone.
All 3: we will.
Ping!
Kaneki's phone suddenly rang.
Chikao: what is it?
Kaneki grinned and said.
Kaneki: looks like those two are doing well.
Natsuki: wait, you mean?
Kaneki: yup, they got some sweet evidence.
After receiving the evidence, Kaneki is one step closer to bringing down Millie, and with Shino and Yuuka helping out now will he be finally be able to help Miku, or will he fail and let Miku get hurt?
