Capítulo 28: Prison Awaits.
"Damn it!" A hand hit a tree and it belonged to Kaito who gritted his teeth. "Where did you ran off to, Naruto?"
It was one thing to run and hide but it was another for now that he had to search for him. Kaito´s temperament also slowly got the better of him. He became more restless by the second.
Every little moment could be a disaster since he knew that Mizuki had a lead in the search on his brother. And those other ninja joining that bastard didn't make it any better. So Kaito had to act fast.
The thing is that he couldn't find either of them. Naruto nor the ninja that attacked them.
There were also just too many god damn places to look at. Sure there were a few tracks that he found and followed. But they were probably only present where Naruto got attacked for sure. The thing was that they stopped or led him nowhere.
He had to say that Naruto knew how to hide. That was for sure. Either that or the pursuers are smarter than he thought. Neither was a good sign.
Kaito also cursed his inability to sense any chakra nearby. That was actually the only thing he never bothered about exploring in his training.
Now that a situation arrived were it would be useful, it clearly came back to bite him in the arse. So he made a very urgent mental note to improve in that ability.
"Fuck it." he clasped his hands together and concentrated. He let his chakra gather around himself and then tried to disperse it like a water ripple into the area around him. "Come on...." He repeated the process more than once until a message appeared.

"That is useless, damn it." Kaito cursed again since he didn't get the desired result. Besides that, he could only feel freaking trees around him. This ability was a waste. At least at this level.
´Okay, I got to calm down...Concentrate on the wind around me...Right...What did it feel like again when I felt my own chakra? A flame inside my body. Now...If I spread this sonar and concentrate on flames it should give me more information. It has to work...´
He started to enter a meditative state where he activated his sonar once more and infused some wind chakra into it.

*Uses own chakra in combination with nature to feel the surroundings. Concentrating on certain objects filters out results. Current filters that are available: Animals, Civilians, Ninja. Combinable with MAP function. The current area of effect is 500m. Chakra sensor uses up 5CP per second.*
"There!" And before Kaito could be happy about developing this skill he felt some weak ninja signatures close by. He started to immediately rush into that direction.
Because he left the skill toggled on he also felt a sudden immense increase in someone's chakra reserves that made Kaito frown at first. But because it stopped and went down he sighed in relief.
`That feeling...Naruto? No...that should be the Nine-Tails chakra. Gotta hurry. And better keep in mind which dot he is.´, he thought while analyzing the chakra as well as looking at his map to discern which dot was the one that emitted the chakra.
The bigger the dot was the higher was the chakra amount by the logic he could discern on the map.
Rushing on from one tree to the next he finally reached a group of 3 ninjas on the ground searching for Naruto.
A very cold glint appeared in Kaito´s eyes. He reached into his pouch and revealed a scroll.
With his teeth, he grabbed the cord around it which kept the scroll closed and ripped it off. Now he could roll it open. He did that with just letting it roll out through gravity on its own since quickness was key.
Then after he infused some chakra into the scroll it let a katana appear out from it with a burst of smoke. After grabbing it he assaulted the three guys.
Since this all happened in a split second he had the advantage. Before the three could react to the smoke he was already behind one of them and sliced his tendons to immobilize him. With a clean kick to the side of his head, he finished him off. A clean K.O.
Then he rushed to the next guy who had enough time to react now and defended kaito´s katana with his kunai. But since the skill gap was glaring at the moment Kaito easily outperformed his opponent and sliced his left arm off before he smacked his pummel into his face to also knock him out cold.
"Damn it! You monster!" The last guy became afraid but still had enough composure to start printing some signs. "Fuuton! Great Breakthrough!"
Kaito slammed the Katana into the ground and printed at a lightning-fast speed. "Doton! Earth Wall!" After the attack was absorbed by his wall he grabbed his katana again and pierced it through his wall so that the tip came out on the other side.
Looking at the small MAP at his side he could see the ninja not having moved at all. A smirk appeared on his face and he printed again.
"Raiton! Lightning Sword!" Because his katana was a chakra blade he could easily combine it with Jutsu. It was an easy way to surprise unaware opponents.
The Jutsu he used was actually just the simple Lightning Spear Jutsu that was a tier C. It was the easiest expression of the Lightning nature. But if someone put enough chakra into that attack and concentrated it, it could become a very dangerous Jutsu.
Just like now. The Jutsu collected at the tip of the Katana and shot out towards the ninja, piercing his abdomen.
And Kaito didn't even have to check if he hit or not. It was clear because of the scream he could hear from him and he was still standing at the same spot. But better safe than sorry. After rechecking his hit through his sensor ability he concentrated and changed the nature of his lightning.
"Senbon!" The Lightning obeyed and instead of concentrating only on piercing one point and nail the poor guy against a tree it started to travel inside the ninja´s body - perfectly paralyzing him.
Shortly after Kaito did that he also released the wall in front of him and let it crumble to dust. His hand that was still holding on to his katana twisted and the Jutsu on the blade slowly retracted itself.
The lightning slowly vanished from his katana and looking at the guy, he could only see him fall to the ground and squirm with spasms all over his body.
Kaito approached him and sheathed his weapon. "You are lucky that I don't have the intention of killing you traitors. The ninja prison will be hell enough for you." He said those last words and nonchalantly kicked him unconscious.
Then he looked at the bleeding guy that had his arm cut off by him.
He could only frown at first. "I didn't expect to land that...At least it was a clean-cut..." He had no time to take medical measures on this guy. So he printed again and gathered fire chakra on his hands to scorch the wound shut.
Confirming none of them are dead he sealed their chakra and roped them to a tree as fast as he could. Then he charged off into the direction he felt his brother. He could feel how he was getting weaker in chakra levels. He needed to hurry up with his aid.
But that also meant those ninjas were definitely attacking him at the moment. Luckily the skills of these Ninja are so trashy. Of course, that could not be said about Mizuki who was a Chunin. And the third Hokage probably send more ninja that were searching for him. Some very likely with no good intentions and uninvolved in Mizuki his plans.

While he ran around the forest he found Iruka on the ground struggling. "Iruka-Sensei!" Kaito stopped and looked at his wounds. He immediately started to treat him with the mystic palm on the back. The wound was slowly closing up.
"Kaito...I am alright. You need to get to Naruto." Iruka looked at Kaito and felt him treat his wound.
"It´s alright. Just now I felt that those guys lost track of Naruto. They scattered to find him. I will make some emergency treatment and we will have a better chance to help Naruto with that." Kaito said those words professionally and internally his heart calmed down a little because he could see on his map that Naruto was hiding and skillfully avoiding the others.
He managed to shake them off and buy some time.
