Capítulo 2: Chapter 2 : Lost
Konoha, May 21th.
In a hospital in Konohagakure, the village of one of the five great shinobi countries located in the Land of Fire, a woman around her twenties was lying on a bed. The woman's name was Uzumaki Saki. She had beautiful long red hair and light blue eyes. She was extremely tired but still had the strength to stay conscious to carry a little baby in her arms with a smile on her face.
« Hello my little boy » softly said Saki, « I am your mother and your name will be Sawako Tatsuya. I'm sorry your father isn't here. He was at work and couldn't come... ». She gently caressed his cheeks. The little baby was already asleep after a long time crying. Saki handed her child to the nurse next to her and ordered her to take care of Tatsuya. The nurse took the baby and placed him on a cradle next to Saki's bed.
The last one, after checking that his baby was alright, smiled then closed her eyes and began to sleep. All the tension, the stress, the exhaustion of the day disappeared, only happiness remained.

A few hours later, a slam sound of a door was heard at the entrance of the room. Saki woke up extremely surprised by the sound and the baby started to cry.
« HELLO SAKI, HOW ARE YOU DATTEBAYO ?! » A cheerful voice resonated inside the whole hospital. There was a woman covering her ears with her hands at her side. She neither expected this.
Saki realising who was causing such a mess, cracked her fingers and put her best smile on her face. However, her hair started to levitate.
« Oh Kushina, you are here ? » said Saki while keeping her smile. Kushina knew by heart this face. She looked away to avoid Saki's face. While looking to the right, she realised her mistake. There was just debris from a wooden door. Drop of sweat began to flow on her forehead…
« I'm sorry big sis', I didn't want to do that... » told Kushina, looking down.
« Oh I don't care about that door, MY BABY IS CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU » screamt the older sister.
« Well, well, we should calm down. The baby is still crying you know ? » a gentle voice of a woman was heard next to them. She was Uchiha Mikoto, Saki's best friend.
Saki and Kushina are born into the famous Uzumaki clan of Uzushiogakure. They were descendants of Uzumaki Mito, the wife of the first Hokage Senju Hashimara. She was the first jinchuriki of the Nine-tails demon fox. Although Saki and Kushina were sisters, the last one had a special chakra. Indeed, she had the same chakra as Mito, she was blessed with a strong life-force giving her stamina, healing powers and longevity. Kushina could materialise Adamantine Sealing Chains which could restrain all the demon beasts.
Back at the time, when Kushina was 9, she was sent to Konoha to become the next jinchuriki of Kyubi. Her sister did not want to leave her because she knew Kushina wouldn't be able to take care of herself and thus joined her. Saki was 15 years old.
Saki was an expert at Fuinjutsu. It was the art of seal techniques. Unlike her little sister, Saki was calm and mature in nature. She always protected Kushina. She was the one who taught Fuinjutsu to Minato, Kushina's boyfriend at the time.
Sometime later they arrived in Konoha, Saki met Mikoto. She had long black hair, black pants and a t shirt. She wore a green jacket describing her status of Chunin. She was also 15 years old. Even if Saki and Mikoto were from different clans, they had the same personalities and shared the same interests. Those reasons lead them to a best-friend relationship.
« So, a boy or a girl ? » Mikoto said. Her voice instantly calmed Saki and responded proudly « He's a boy, Sawano Tatsuya, isn't that a good name ? You can't understand how long we searched with Ryota to come up with this name. Well if the baby was a girl, we would have named her Miyuki ».
« I know what you're talking about » she said while caressing her belly. She was at the final stage of her pregnancy. She came closer to the baby « Tatsuya isn't it ? My name is Mikoto Uchiha, I hope we will get along well ».
When Kushina approached the baby, she was a little bit nervous. She didn't want to hurt Tatsuya with her abnormal strength. Saki chuckled while seeing this scene. She took Tatsuya and carefully placed the boy in Kushina's arms. The baby offered his best smile to Kushina.

The next day, Saki and Kushina were still in the hospital room. Mikoto left a little time after the meeting yesterday. Kushina was carrying the baby when someone knocked on the door. After Saki's approval, four men and a five year old kid with flowers entered. They were Namikaze Minato, Aburame Shibi, Akimichi Chôza, Hatake Sakumo and his son Kakashi.
« Good morning Saki-san, Kushina » Minato greeted the sisters. « Congratulations ! ». He was the one with a smile. The others tried to force themselves curving their lips up but could not. They came with bad news.
«
- Thank you Minato, He's Tatsuya ! But instead of talking to my son, where is Ryota, wasn't he supposed to be on a mission with you ...?
- Yes he was but… I can't explain why but we lost him…
- What do you mean you lost him ?? Is he dead ?! » Saki clenched her hand into fists with a terror that could be seen in her eyes. The baby, as if he was feeling his mother's feeling, began to cry loudly. Kushina was also surprised at this moment. Sawano Ryota was on the same level as his husband. He was also considered as a genius and contributed a lot for Konoha during the last war. Seeing the atmosphere, Kakashi approached Tatsuya and took him out of the room while trying to comfort the baby. Sakumo didn't say anything and just nodded to Kakashi.
He was also confused. Ryota was his only student and taught him the Hatake Kenjutsu style, although it was supposed to be a technique only for the Hatake family. A year ago, in a difficult mission with a lot of repercussions, he decided to give it up and to save his comrades. Back to the village, he became the scapegoat of the failure of the mission. Even the shinobis he saved blamed him. Only Ryota, Saki, Minato, Kushina and few other people supported him. He decided to stop being a shinobi for the moment and just trained his student and Kakashi.
Minato and Saki continued their conversation.
«
- We went to the land of Wind to search for the reasons for the fluctuations there. There was a tower, but when we approached it, we were teleported at the center of the tower with light wounds and with dirty clothes. We saw a sword with my style of seals. We guessed that whatever happened there, it would be best for us to lose our memory. Then, we chose to leave without investigating the tower as it might impact the future...
- And what happened to my husband ?
- We don't know, he disappeared when we were on the tower.
- So that's how things will be... I guess i will have to search Ryota by myself» She said with a tear flowing on her cheek.
« Don't worry, we will help you, I will search for him Chôza, Shibi, Kakashi and Minato won't be able to do it without risk » responded Sakumo with a firm voice.
« I don't think it's a wise choice Sakumo-san, the tower is in the land of wind and you're alone. Moreover Chiyo, the world master puppeteer is there and holds a grudge against you as you killed his son. I will do it by myself. Kushina could you raise my son when I won't be here ? » asked Saki.
« It's okay, i'm quite strong you know ! Also, if you're unfortunate, you would be arrested by the by shinobis of Sunagakure and they might blackmail our village to give Kushina to them » said Sakumo.
After two minutes of silence, he added « Well, I guess it's been decided, I will search for my student. Have a nice recovery ! » He left as if nothing had happened. Outside the room, Kakashi was playing with the nose of Tatsuya who laughed at this. This was really cute. Sakumo was a little sad that it could not shared this moment with his wife who died a little time after Kakashi was born .
« I will search for my student, don't stop your training and, support Saki and protect Tatsuya please . I don't want him to be as unlucky as you living without a parent.» ordered Sakumo to his son.
« Yes father » said Kakashi. He had determination in his eyes. He was always grateful for his senpai to reconfort his father while he wasn't able to do anything. Kakashi thought that Sakumo might have committed suicide. He understood that the value of a comrade was more important than a mission.
