Capítulo 15: Higeki’s resolve
As the sun started to rise,the smell of blood filled the air as Isane desperately darted at full speed to his fallen friend's location.
"Hahahaha"The young man laughed crazily as he lowered his scythe to Higeki's arm.His eyes dilated in pleasure,he slowly saw his scythe into Higeki's right arm as Higeki tried to hold back his screams.
Like a child savoring the last pieces of their candy,the psychotic young man enjoyed every moment of torturing Higeki with the hopes of breaking his strong will.
"You were entertaining Higeki!Now die!"After he completely severed Higeki's right arm,the young lunatic lifted his scythe just to slash down immediately after aiming at Higeki's neck.
"I CAN'T DIE YET,MY FAMILY STILL NEEDS ME!!!"Higeki cried out ,causing the murderous madman to flinch."CHAKRA FLOW:FULL BODY"Higeki yelled as he circulated chakra around his body at high speed giving him an insane boost in power,a blue aura covered his body from head to toe.Higeki,with his will and love for his family alone,Higeki used his previously paralyzed legs to kick him away,flinging himself tens of feet away from the madman.
"Die you bastard!"Right after Higeki launched himself away,Isane appeared in front of the madman with both of his hands holding a katana that shined with chakra,his whole body was also covered with the blue aura seen on Higeki.
Isane slashed his sword horizontally splitting his enemy cleanly in two.the madman fell to the ground,split in two but is still very much alive.
Higeki looked at his best friend's action in shock,"Isane?!!?what are you doing?!?!!?"He yelled out and then continued"What about Kazuki and Gotaku?!??".
"Higeki…..they both died a few minutes ago….i couldn't save them…"Isane said with gloom as he walked towards Higeki to pick him up on his shoulder.
"Let's go Higeki,we can't kill that guy,he'll regenerate in a few minutes,we're no match for him"said Isane as Higeki reluctantly nodded,Isane began running to the direction of their village in the land of iron as the sun was already shining bright.
__seven hours later in smooth ore village__
Kuki and his family were standing at the village gate waiting for his father's squad to return along with an elderly woman.
"Mom"Kuki called out to get his mothers attention and asked"Why is dad so late?He was supposed to return an hour ago".
"Don't worry Kuki,your dad's squad may have gotten hungry and stopped at a restaurant"Kuki Ansatsu said to reassure her son even though she herself was very anxious.
"I hope my son Kazuki is alright"the elderly woman waiting alongside Kuki's family spoke up in unease.
"It's okay Mrs Yonbara,on a samurai's mission,having setbacks is perfectly normal,when I was still on duty,one time our mission was delayed by a few days!"Kuki's grandfather said to the elderly woman.
"Grampa, I see someone over there!"Kuki said as he pointed his index finger at a small silhouette on the horizon.
The old man activated his Byakugan to take a closer look,he saw Isane carrying Higeki on his back,both of them were covered in blood.
"Higeki!!Isane!!"The old man quickly ran towards the battered duo.
Seeing his grampa's reaction,Kuki quickly activated his byakugan,just to see his father in critical condition.His eyes widened in shock,yet he didn't panic,he held himself together and hastily looked back at his mother.
"Mom!Dad needs a doctor!!!"Seeing her son's strange behavior,she immediately turned back and ran into the village in the direction of the village's hospital.
Suddenly a horrified scream rang in Kuki's ear,"WHERE'S MY SON KAZUK?!?!!?"Mrs Yonbara screamed in disbelief after noticing that her son wasn't with the badly wounded Higeki and his captain Isane.
