Capítulo 31: Chapter 28 One V Three
While Usagi was busy practicing his newly gained ninjutsu, the Hokage was in his tower, in his hands was a glass ball, showing the image of Usagi training, seeing the flashes of electricity swimming in and out of his body like fish in a river, Hokage felt a dreadful suspicion.
Was Usagi a spy, seeing as he was using a jutsu unique to the people of Cloud Village, a village that was known to have a few powerful ninja capable of lightning chakra mode that could allow them to rival the likes of tailed beasts.
Originally he had planned on letting the team leader head back to the frontline with backup and supplies, but this new discovery halted his plan.
Hokage snapped his fingers, and soon enough, an ANBU ninja appeared,
"Hokage-sama!"
"I want all the details on Usagi Suingetsu"
With his order received the ninja bowed as he disappeared into the ground, perfectly blending into the floor as he disappeared.
'Sigh...the situation is getting worse by the day, Although Orochimaru managed to deal a hand to the enemy, they won't stop coming, we need to hit them where it hurts, the large-scale formations of Rock ninja are starting to gnaw on our ninja's spirits...and now this.
Before the Hokage could come to a decision, the same ninja with an ANBU mask came back with shunshin.
Putting the file on the table, he left promptly.
Hokage also began flipping through the files, soon enough he understood all there was to know about Usagi, down to the last thing he had done.
"So his parents served on the Cloud front and were killed on the line of duty, coming from a small clan of ninja who are good at Fire jutsu, there is no mention of them being linked to the Cloud ninja, and I am sure he wouldn't side on the enemy with what happened to his parents. Did they acquire the jutsu from the body of some Cloud ninja and secretly hide it away?" The Hokage thought hard for a while.
With the already precarious situation, he couldn't allow something to happen to the backup and supplies, though he also couldn't let go of a chunin ninja who could be better off serving the village.
Seemingly after thinking for a while, he made up his mind.
"Call the supply team leader, I need to have a word with him,"
"Yes, Hokage-sama,"

Usagi took a shower after a gruesome training session, the Shadow clones also dispersed and he was hit with so much fatigue that he nearly blacked out.
After resting for a while Usagi was satisfied with his progress, he was now able to use all the available Ninjutsu techniques,
Seeing his progress, Usagi thought the pain was worth it as without the clones he would have taken at least three or four days to learn the Jutsu in his arsenal.
The training with the lightning chakra mode was also going smoothly. Usagi believed that with better chakra control and a stronger body, it wouldn't be long before he mastered the chakra mode. He thought that practicing the new and improved ninjutsu on his enemies would help him progress even faster. However, the fear of being labeled as a spy scared him, so he backed off.
Perhaps the only problem now was his chakra reserves, if they were to increase, then that would be for the best.
The next day, Usagi was called by the team leader as everyone was ready for departure, the previous team had grown at least three or four times larger.
There were seven Jonin and twenty or so Chunin.
Although Konoha was the top force among the ninja villages, in the third war they were being besieged by all sides simultaneously so even this much of a backup was a godsend.
Usagi met up with his captain, as they shared a greeting, Usagi felt that the leader was acting a bit reserved with him, although he didn't know why, it didn't bother him, he planned on using all his ninjutsu to make a name for himself.
His body was already sturdy enough compared to most ninja, his Taijutsu proficiency was such that normal genin and even some chunin would die if they played with him.
"We will be leaving for Kusagakure in a moment, Usagi, we will be acting as scouts while the real backup and supplies will be behind us. You, me, and those two will be taking the front," he spoke as he pointed at two jonins who greeted them back.
Usagi also got to know that they had three jonin this time so unless the enemy was especially powerful enough to conceal their chakra signature, they wouldn't be able to cause any harm.
After half a day of running, they finally arrived at the border of the Fire country.
"Let's go, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any abnormality," the leader advised as he gave Usagi a pointed look.
Shisui wasn't with them and everyone knew that Usagi was lucky to be alive, if not uninjured during the last ambush.
"Ahaha! I will be careful this time," he gave an awkward laugh as they ran ahead of the supplies.
Usagi was tasked with the west side along with another chunin, The team leader was keeping watch on the main route, and the other two Jonin took two other directions.
Usagi used shunshin as he and the other chunin surveyed the area, Usagi failed to notice the undisguised stink eyes the ninja was giving him, more like he ignored it in favor of guarding the surroundings.
Just when they felt they wouldn't find anything, they came across another scout party on their way.
"They are three in total, a total of three chunin and there seems to be a sensory ninja among them...." Usagi spoke.
"What should we do?" He asked,
Like the other party's sensory ninja, the chunin ninja was also a sensory ninja and was sixty percent sure that they had been discovered or atleast spotted,
"What else, let's get them!" Usagi stated, ready to pounce as his body crackled with energy.
"What! Are you out of your mind, although I am a chunin, my specialty is not in combat and you are alone, even if you are Jiraiya-sama's disciple, you shouldn't barge in like that. Let's return and report to the captain," the sensory ninja advised.
Unfortunately for him, his advice fell on deaf ears, seeing Usagi jump into the enemy line, he shook his head and ran in the opposite direction.
For in the mind of the chunin, a lone chunin couldn't deal with three chunin, and in his memory, he didn't remember Usagi being an exception to this rule despite the guy using toad oil bullets to capture his enemies as he mostly had other people to do it for him.
"Is this why the leader asked me to keep an eye on him and report if anything weird occurs.... let's just report and be done with it, my mission is more important than this, the Rock ninja have likely already secretly reported to their back up, this will definitely break out into a full-blown fight if we don't act strategically." The chunin thought.
