"Wait… What exactly is this entry ceremony?" Naruto asked, watching Jiraiya and Toad Yin's preparations with a puzzled look. He recalled Jiraiya mentioning something about the seal's key, but he had lost track of the details.
"Naruto, didn't the Fourth Hokage's chakra explain this to you? The seal on Toad Yin is part of the Eight Sign Seal placed on you. It can be adjusted when the seal weakens or even unlocked when needed. The entry ceremony allows Toad Yin to bind to you, integrating the seal with the one already on your body."
After engraving the transfer seal, Jiraiya stepped over and explained everything to Naruto.
"Oh, I get it now… So, what do I need to do to get ready?" Naruto asked, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he looked at Toad Yin.
"No preparation needed! Just place your hand on the transfer seal that Jiraiya marked, and I'll handle the rest," Toad Yin replied, unrolling the scroll.
"So that's it? Seems simple enough!" Naruto eagerly placed his hand on the seal, looking at Toad Yin with anticipation.
"Alright, let's begin the entry ceremony. Naruto, open your mouth…"
Seeing both parties ready, Toad Yin rolled up the scroll and looked at Naruto intently.
"Huh? Open my mouth? What are you planning to do?" Naruto asked, suddenly uneasy.
"To enter your body, of course. How else do you think I can get inside? Now, hurry up!" Toad Yin replied as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Wait, you want me to swallow you?" Naruto exclaimed, sweating as he glanced at the massive toad. "That's disgusting!"
"Of course! I can't just teleport into your stomach. Now hurry up!" Toad Yin pressed, urging him again.
"Naruto, go ahead. It might feel uncomfortable at first, but you'll get used to it. That's how it was for me…" Jiraiya said, patting Naruto on the shoulder, trying to sound reassuring.
"Ahem… I understand, Toad Yin, I'm ready." Naruto smiled awkwardly, mentally bracing himself for what came next.
Under Jiraiya and Toad Yin's surprised stares, Naruto made a hand sign, muttering under his breath, "Partial Expansion Jutsu…"
To their shock, Naruto's head expanded to the size of a small house, and in one gulp, he swallowed the toad whole.
Jiraiya was stunned. This kid… he even learned the Akimichi clan's secret technique! If he'd done this sooner, things would have been easier!
Inside the Sealed Space
After swallowing the toad, Naruto's consciousness entered the sealed space.
"So, the cage is finally opening, Naruto…" Nine Tails stood up, looking at Naruto from behind the iron bars.
"Yes… Kurama, you're about to be free." Naruto approached the seal, reaching for it with a calm smile.
"Congratulations, Naruto! Kurama…" Doraemon, who had become one with Nine Tails, sat atop the giant fox, observing the scene with a joyful expression.
Without hesitation, Naruto tore off the seal talisman. Since he was in control, Minato's chakra did not appear to restrain him.
"As expected, with the key, this is easy." Naruto glanced confidently at the inner lock on the seal, lifting his shirt to reveal his abdomen.
Reaching out, Naruto activated the key seal imprinted by Toad Yin, aligning it with the Eight Sign Seal on his abdomen. As he turned his hand clockwise, the lock on the iron gate shrank and released.
Boom!
The immense aura of Nine Tails burst through the gates as it opened. Nine Tails grinned, and pure chakra flowed into Naruto's body like a tidal wave.
In the Outside World
Jiraiya and Toad Yin watched Naruto nervously, afraid that he might lose control to the Nine Tails' power. However, within seconds, Naruto was enveloped in a golden chakra.
His eyes transformed into the vertical pupils of the Nine Tails, while the golden chakra formed a stunning, armored cloak around him. Several black patterns appeared on the cloak, including six black tomoe along his collar, with black markings extending down his legs.
His chest and back bore additional black tomoe, and a distinctive mark of the Six Paths appeared on his face. Naruto's hair glowed in a brilliant golden hue, and the chakra radiated with an intense, boundless energy.
The long-awaited Kurama Mode had finally arrived!
