Capítulo 168: Chapter 166: The Arrival of the Divine Tree!

Chapter 166: The Arrival of the Divine Tree!

"This world has nothing worth saving anymore."

"This world is dead."

"It's time to prepare for Infinite Tsukuyomi."

After a few exchanges with the Kage, Obito had fully mastered the immense power of the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

Floating in the sky, he coldly surveyed the battlefield. He no longer saw the need to continue playing games with his enemies. Obito brought his hands together in a ritualistic motion.

From his back, the massive body of the Ten-Tails began to emerge, its overwhelming presence shaking the earth to its core.

The beast's tendrils burrowed deep into the ground, spreading across the planet like a network of roots. Anyone who came into contact with the roots was instantly drained of their chakra and reduced to a withered husk.

Through this horrifying process, the Ten-Tails absorbed massive amounts of chakra, accelerating its transformation into a colossal tree trunk with no branches.

At the top of this Divine Tree was a massive flower bud. At its center, an ominous Rinne Sharingan began to take form.

This was the ultimate evolution of the Ten-Tails—the Divine Tree.

"Run for your lives! If that thing touches you, you'll die instantly!"

The battlefield devolved into chaos as the roots of the Divine Tree spread indiscriminately, striking down everyone in its path. Even the strongest among them, Hashirama and Madara, were forced to retreat.

"Madara, what in the world is this thing?"

Dodging the relentless assault of the roots, Hashirama shouted at Madara, hoping for answers.

"The chakra we use—every bit of it—was originally stolen from this Divine Tree."

"It's reclaiming what was taken from it."

Madara's tone was uncharacteristically grave as he provided Hashirama with the truth.

"What are you talking about?"

Still bewildered, Hashirama demanded further explanation.

"How do you think ninjas came to be?" Madara asked. "This knowledge is inscribed on the Uchiha's Stone Tablet."

He then began recounting the history of the Divine Tree:

"It was a forbidden fruit from the Divine Tree that birthed the first wielder of chakra. From that moment, humanity was cursed. Wars, hatred, and endless conflict—these were the consequences of tampering with the Divine Tree's power."

"So, you want to use the Divine Tree's power to cast a massive genjutsu?" Hashirama asked, his expression darkening. "Is this your 'dream of something far greater'?"

"Exactly," Madara replied flatly.

The Divine Tree showed no mercy. Its roots attacked indiscriminately, targeting the strong and weak alike.

Caught in the onslaught were the legendary Sannin, struggling against the relentless assault. Despite their best efforts, their jutsu were no match for the endless wave of roots.

"This is bad. Jiraiya-sensei and the others are in danger!"

Minato, who had been helping others escape, noticed his former teacher and teammates in peril. Using Flying Thunder God, he teleported to their location and quickly evacuated Jiraiya and Orochimaru.

Tobirama arrived just in time to save Tsunade, pulling her out of the fray.

Yet the Divine Tree continued its rampage, extending its tendrils to every corner of the planet. Even those in the skies were not spared from its grasp.

After what felt like an eternity, the Divine Tree finally ceased its expansion.

The battlefield was left in ruins. Of the original alliance force of 100,000 ninjas, fewer than 10,000 remained. The losses were staggering.

"It's finally stopped."

"So, this is your 'dream of something far greater'?"

Hashirama landed on solid ground, his gaze fixed on the towering Divine Tree. The corpses of countless comrades lay at its base, a heart-wrenching sight.

"Yes," Madara replied indifferently.

"But it's not quite complete yet."

"What do you mean?" Hashirama asked, narrowing his eyes.

Madara gestured toward the top of the Divine Tree, where the massive flower bud remained closed.

"When the flower blooms, its eye will reflect the moon," Madara explained. "And Infinite Tsukuyomi will be cast upon the world."

"Why hasn't it bloomed yet?"

"Because the Nine-Tails' Jinchūriki is still alive," Madara replied cryptically.

"But the Divine Tree contains the Nine-Tails' chakra, so it's only a matter of time."

"In approximately 15 minutes, the flower will bloom."

"And during that time," Madara continued, his voice calm but resolute, "I will subdue Obito and take his place. Using your Sage Mode, of course."

"Fifteen minutes," Hashirama murmured, his mind racing.

---

Unaware of the precise reason for the delay, Obito floated high above the battlefield, his gaze fixed on the remaining survivors.

He extended his hand, preparing to unleash another wave of destruction to accelerate the Divine Tree's bloom.

At the same time, Hashirama received a telepathic message from his wood clone, relaying the information Madara had revealed.

Without hesitation, Hashirama used a Yamanaka clan technique to transmit this vital intel to the others.

"We have 15 minutes."

"We either destroy the Divine Tree or eliminate the caster. That's the only way to stop Infinite Tsukuyomi."

The clock was ticking, and the fate of the world hung in the balance.

Capítulo 169: Chapter 167: The Red Beast Awakens: The Gate of Death Opens!

Chapter 167: The Red Beast Awakens: The Gate of Death Opens!

Hearing such desperate conditions, the remaining Allied Shinobi Forces fell silent.

Time and time again, they had failed against Uchiha Obito. Every loss only served to strengthen him further. With comrades and loved ones dying around them, the weight of sorrow and despair began to crush their spirits.

Many had already resigned themselves to defeat.

"Don't give up!"

Sensing the low morale, Hashirama called out to rally them, his voice echoing through the battlefield.

However, his words did not have the effect he intended. Hashirama's speech lacked the heartfelt resonance of Naruto's legendary ability to inspire. Instead, it struck a nerve.

"You keep telling us not to give up, but you're just an Edo Tensei!"

"You're already dead!"

"You can't understand the fear of dying because you've already crossed that line!"

"We're alive! We don't want to die!"

The outburst quickly spread, with other shinobi voicing their discontent.

"This war was doomed from the start! We've already lost everything!"

The thought of facing an invincible enemy like Obito had robbed them of their courage. Now, with so many dead, they saw no point in continuing the fight.

"Hmph, that's right."

"You've fought well enough already. Just give up now."

Obito smirked as he watched the growing dissent within the Alliance, his voice calm yet menacing. He raised his hand, preparing the Divine Tree for another massacre.

"Wait, wait!"

"Taijutsu still works!"

"Our youth hasn't dimmed yet!"

Suddenly, a voice cut through the chaos. It was Might Guy. Unlike the others, he remained steadfast and full of resolve.

"Don't lose hope!"

With determined steps, Guy began walking toward Obito.

"You're not planning to—?"

Kakashi's eyes widened as he realized what Guy intended to do.

"This is it, Kakashi. The moment when the Blue Beast of Konoha fades away."

"But in its place, the Red Beast will rise!"

Guy turned back briefly, his teeth glinting in a dazzling smile, before continuing toward the enemy.

"Guy, has it really come to this?" Kakashi called out, his voice heavy with dread.

Guy didn't stop walking. "Don't make that face, Kakashi!"

"This time, I'll show you—effort can surpass genius!"

As Guy approached Obito, he began opening the gates of the Eight Inner Gates Formation. A torrent of violent chakra erupted from his body, surrounding him in a brilliant, fiery aura.

Through his Rinnegan, Obito could see the intense flow of chakra pouring into Guy's eighth gate: the Gate of Death.

"Eighth Gate: Gate of Death, open!"

The entire battlefield seemed to tremble as Guy unleashed his ultimate technique. His body was now enveloped in crimson steam—the Blood Steam unique to this form.

"So this is the full power of the Eight Gates Formation?"

"It doesn't look like much," Obito remarked dismissively.

"You're right, Obito," Guy replied calmly. "But this is youth at its peak—blazing brighter than ever before!"

With a roar, Guy leapt into action, his speed so great that he seemed to vanish.

"Evening Elephant! First Step!"

A single punch, though seemingly simple, carried an unimaginable force. The shockwave tore through the air like a cannonball, slamming into Obito before he could react.

Obito instinctively raised his Six Paths staff to block the blow, but it was futile. The shockwave crushed through his defenses, snapping off one of the horns on his head and sending him hurtling to the ground.

"Boom!"

Obito hit the earth with enough force to create a massive crater. Dust and debris flew into the air as the ground shook violently.

"Urgh!"

For the first time since becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, Obito tasted defeat. Blood spurted from his mouth as pain shot through his entire body.

He quickly controlled his Truth-Seeking Orbs to merge with his body, activating their regenerative properties.

"Second Step!"

Guy wasn't finished. He launched into another attack, but as he moved, his leg gave out with a loud crack.

"Crack!"

The intense strain of the Eight Gates was already beginning to take its toll on his body.

Guy grimaced as the pain surged through him, halting his momentum. But he quickly gritted his teeth and pressed on.

"Is this what it means to push beyond your limits?"

"No matter—there's no time for hesitation now!"

In mere seconds, Guy adjusted to the agony and resumed his assault.

Meanwhile, deep within the crater, Obito had managed to recover. Though visibly shaken, he was far from defeated.

"I underestimated you," Obito admitted. "Your taijutsu is beyond anything I've seen before."

He summoned his Six Paths staff and several Truth-Seeking Orbs, rising slowly into the air.

"But don't think I'll fall for the same trick twice."

"Tap, tap, tap!"

Guy sprinted across the battlefield, his feet seeming to defy gravity as he ran through the air itself.

"What?!"

The sight left everyone, including Obito, utterly speechless.

This defiance of logic and physics shattered every preconceived notion about taijutsu. It was as if Guy had turned the battlefield into his personal stage, dancing upon the very air.

Guy charged at Obito once more, his movements a blur of fiery determination.

"Third Step!"

As the fight reached its climax, the Red Beast of Konoha prepared to unleash everything he had against the most powerful enemy he had ever faced.
