Chapter 119: Infiltrating the Enemy's Base!
Though Uchiha Yi had successfully entered the moon's inner space, he couldn't recall the exact location of the Tenseigan. He would have to spend some time searching for it.
Using brute force to create a commotion and draw out Ōtsutsuki Toneri was an absolute last resort. If his power was too overwhelming, it might scare them into hiding, making the search even more difficult.
While the moon was smaller than the Earth, its surface area was still vast. For someone just over six feet tall, finding one or two individuals hiding deliberately was like searching for a needle in a haystack.
---
Meanwhile, somewhere inside the moon's inner layer…
In a palace, an elderly man dressed in white robes observed Uchiha Yi through a glowing sphere. His brows furrowed in concern.
The elderly man controlled everything that happened on the moon and monitored events on Earth. He recognized Yi's face from his surveillance of the shinobi world.
Uchiha Yi was a prominent figure in the ninja world, but his sudden appearance on the moon baffled the elder.
"Did he come through the spatial pathway?"
He quickly dismissed the thought.
Yi had appeared without warning on the moon's outer layer, then broken through to the inner layer. If he had used the spatial pathway, he would have arrived directly inside.
The elder couldn't fathom how Yi had achieved this feat or what his intentions were. However, Yi's actions suggested hostility.
"Since he has discovered the moon's secret, he must never leave here alive."
The elder was determined to keep the moon's existence a secret, especially since Toneri Ōtsutsuki had not yet fully matured.
Although he was aware of Yi's strength, he believed that with proper planning, eliminating him was achievable.
---
Shortly after, the artificial sun overhead opened a concealed hatch.
From the opening, a massive army of puppets emerged, flying straight toward Uchiha Yi in a formation that darkened the skies.
The sheer scale of the deployment was impossible to ignore.
"Perfect timing!" Yi smirked. "I was just looking for you."
As the puppet army surrounded him, Yi remained calm, standing his ground.
The puppets hovered in place momentarily before raising their palms, each glowing with chakra.
In an instant, countless beams of energy shot toward Yi, leaving no room for escape.
The barrage of chakra beams lit up the sky like fireworks, reducing the ground around Yi to rubble and filling the air with smoke and dust.
---
Inside the palace, the elder watched the scene intently through his surveillance sphere.
"Did that finish him?"
Even though the attack continued for five minutes without pause, the elder was cautious.
He ordered the puppets to stop firing and summoned a gust of wind to disperse the smoke, revealing the aftermath.
The ground where Yi had stood was unrecognizable, but there was no trace of his body.
The elder scanned the surrounding area with his enhanced perception but found no sign of Yi.
"Could he really be dead?"
Despite his doubts, further inspections yielded no evidence of Yi's survival.
Satisfied, the elder concluded that Yi had been obliterated.
"So this so-called ninja powerhouse was nothing after all," the elder sneered. "Their reputations are clearly exaggerated."
---
Unbeknownst to the elder, Yi had survived the attack unscathed.
As soon as the puppet army began firing, Yi had used Fire Elemental Transformation to avoid damage. While the energy beams wreaked havoc on the terrain, they couldn't harm his elemental form.
During the chaos, Yi threw several kunai marked with Flying Thunder God seals toward the direction the puppets had come from.
Once inside the safety of his Fire Space, Yi tracked the kunai and began following the puppet army's retreat.
"This will lead me straight to their base," Yi mused, his plan unfolding perfectly.
The elder, convinced of Yi's death, ordered the puppets to return. Their movement provided Yi the perfect cover to infiltrate their stronghold.
---
After some time, the puppet army arrived at the artificial sun.
As they approached, the sun's surface opened, revealing an entrance. The puppets flew inside in an orderly fashion.
Yi observed from his hidden vantage point.
"So this is where you're hiding."
He noticed that the artificial sun was equipped with seals designed to block perception, which explained why he hadn't been able to detect the base earlier.
Without the puppets' retreat, finding this location would have been nearly impossible.
Once the last puppet entered, the entrance began to close.
Yi quickly activated his Flying Thunder God seal and teleported inside, using the kunai he had thrown earlier.
"Now, let's see what secrets you're hiding."
Yi's infiltration was flawless, and he now stood within the heart of the enemy's domain.

Chapter 120: Devouring the Power of Ōtsutsuki, Toneri's Bloodline!
After the intruder was "eliminated," the moon's inner space returned to its usual tranquility.
Remarkably, this vast expanse had only two living inhabitants. The rest were merely lifeless puppets.
To modern sensibilities, a place devoid of human life resembled more of a haunted house. While it might be fine for a brief visit, long-term residence would undoubtedly lead to madness.
Uchiha Yi understood why the moon had become so desolate, but he had no interest in delving into irrelevant details.
Having successfully infiltrated the enemy's base and confirmed the location of the giant Tenseigan, there was no reason to delay.
Selecting a fire point closest to Ōtsutsuki Toneri, Yi used the Fire Elemental Transformation technique to materialize near his target.
---
At this moment, Ōtsutsuki Toneri was merely a 12-year-old child.
Blind and with no elder present to protect him, he was utterly defenseless against someone of Yi's caliber.
"Who's there?"
Although born without sight, Toneri's heightened senses alerted him to Yi's unfamiliar presence. His voice betrayed his wariness.
"Apologies," Yi said coldly, unsheathing Ryūjin Jakka, his flaming blade. "I don't have time to explain. Please die quietly."
With a swift motion, the blade slashed through the air.
Toneri attempted to evade, but the disparity in their power levels rendered resistance futile.
"Swoosh!"
The strike cleaved cleanly through Toneri's neck, his head rolling to the ground.
A promising future villain, meant to grow into a force to be reckoned with, met an abrupt and anticlimactic end.
The sheer simplicity of the kill left Yi momentarily incredulous. But such was the reality of power: it was ruthless and often unfair.
"Void Devouring Flame!"
From Yi's hand emerged an invisible flame, descending upon Toneri's corpse. Within moments, the body was completely consumed, leaving no trace behind.
The flames returned to Yi's hand, carrying with them a feedback of Toneri's bloodline energy.
---
Ōtsutsuki Toneri was said to possess one of the purest Ōtsutsuki bloodlines. Among the clan, bloodline power was divided into nine tiers, known as the Nine Divine Eyes:
1. Single Divine Eye
2. Dual Divine Eyes
...
3. Nine Divine Eyes
At the pinnacle of the Ōtsutsuki bloodline, an individual would possess nine unique eyes.
Ōtsutsuki Urashiki, for example, had five eyes:
Byakugan: A dojutsu capable of perceiving chakra flow, identifying tenketsu points, and facilitating advanced combat techniques.
Red Rinnegan: A dojutsu that allowed control over space, enabling Urashiki to open spatial rifts for teleportation or evasion.
Blue Rinnegan: A dojutsu that manipulated time, enabling him to slow down opponents' movements.
Golden Rinnegan: His most powerful form, exponentially enhancing his abilities and allowing him to dominate multiple foes.
Unknown Golden Eye: A mysterious dojutsu with abilities yet to be fully revealed.
Compared to such monstrous power, Yi's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan seemed almost laughable.
The realization amused Yi.
"So, without the system's assistance, I'm just a small fry."
His gaze turned ambitious. "I need to work harder. My goal is all nine eyes."
The upgraded Void Devouring Flame was now much stronger than before. It took only a few moments to completely absorb Toneri's bloodline power, fusing it with Yi's own.
Yi could feel the transformative effects coursing through his body.
"Just a little more," he thought, sensing that he was on the verge of awakening the Rinnegan.
But Toneri's power alone wasn't enough.
"Let's add the Tenseigan to the mix, shall we?"
Excitement surged within Yi as his attention turned to the colossal Tenseigan.
---
Before proceeding, however, he needed to deal with a minor inconvenience.
The elder responsible for overseeing Toneri's care had sensed that something was wrong. Panic-stricken, he rushed to Toneri's chambers.
When he arrived, he was met with the sight of Yi standing over a bloodless scene, smiling.
Dread gripped the elder's heart.
"What have you done to Toneri?" the elder demanded, his voice trembling.
"He's dead," Yi replied nonchalantly. "I killed him."
The elder's face twisted in horror.
"Die, you monster!"
Driven by rage, the elder raised his hand, preparing to attack.
But Yi was faster.
"Snap!"
With a theatrical snap of his fingers, Yi unleashed Flame Ignition, engulfing the elder in searing flames.
The elder's cries of pain echoed through the chamber as his body was consumed.
Before the flames could fully destroy the body, Yi summoned the Void Devouring Flame once more, extracting the elder's meager bloodline energy.
"Pathetic," Yi muttered, disappointed by the paltry reward. Compared to Toneri's bloodline, the elder's power was insignificant.
Still, it was better than nothing—a mere appetizer before the main course.
---
With the elder and Toneri out of the way, there were no more obstacles. The puppets, lacking orders, remained motionless, continuing their routine tasks.
Navigating the stronghold without resistance, Yi finally arrived at his true objective: the Tenseigan(Energy Vessel).
The massive golden orb radiated an awe-inspiring aura, illuminating the chamber in a divine glow.
"Such incredible power…" Yi murmured, awestruck.
Stretching out his hand, he grinned. "Let's see if devouring this will awaken my Rinnegan—or maybe even something beyond."
