Hiroshi was hunched on his bedside table, as his days became simplified he became a little lazy for the first time in his life. It was relaxing to know that his life wasn't in any immediate danger right now. He used the calligraphy brush to swiftly finish the seal upon which he was experimenting.
He admired his work for a moment before he grabbed the seal and hopped up from his chair and walked out of his tent, right beside his tent was a small shoe rack-type structure but instead of shoes it housed several livestock. Hiroshi pondered for a moment before he grabbed a brown bunny, through various experiments that he did in the last couple of days, Hiroshi figured out that he would only get a proper response from his chakra suppression seals if the animals or creatures upon which he tested had some substantial amount of chakra.
He was working on a seal right now that would make it appear to a sensor like he has less chakra than he has. There were quite a few fundamentals of chakra that he figured out as he went through the Uzumaki seals. What he knew about chakra before the last simulation was just that it was a naturally occurring energyy that every living thing was able to produce in the elemental nations. It was a combination of spiritual and physical energy and could be channeled in various ways to perform jutsus.
The sketchy part about using Ninjutsu was that in the academy they don't teach you enough to have an actual understanding of how ninjutsu could be created by using chakra, he knew that each of the handseal makes the chakra circulating through his tenketsu, work in a certain way and pattern that makes it so you can make the specific amount of chakra that you are molding into a jutsu.
Take the Fireball Ninjutsu as an example, it was the simplified version of the Great Fireball Ninjutsu that the Uchiha clan loved, it was smaller in size and less effective but it didn't need someone who had Fire Natured Chakra to learn it. As soon as someone makes a 'Snake' seal, it allows you to separate a small amount of chakra from your reserves, the 'Tiger' seal makes your chakra move through your tenketsu in 2 different layers, these two different loops move around the molded chakra turning its nature from neutral to Fire, the last seal of the jutsu, a 'Ram' is one of the most common seals that is used to keep chakra in a certain shape, when everything is performed correctly, almost anyone can perform a somewhat powerful Fireball jutsu.
That was all he knew before this simulation, you perform hand seals and maintain chakra control to blow a big ball of fire at your opponents. But when he upgraded his {Basic Fuinjutsu} to {Advanced Fuinjutsu}, along with learning the {Uzumaki Fuinjutsu} his understanding of Chakra changed. The Basics were still the same, chakra is made up of spiritual and physical energies, but it wasn't necessary to mix the two to get some form of beneficial effect from either spiritual or physical energy.
Even the power of the Fireball jutsu that almost everyone can perform depends on their chakra nature, the power of the fireball jutsu that someone who is water chakra natured would obviously lack when compared directly to someone who was fire natured. This brings back the highlight on to what a chakra nature is, in the show the chakra paper was shown as something that was sensitive to chakra. So that means everyone's chakra even when it is neutral, has a tendency to predominantly lean towards one of the five chakra natures, which makes your chakra more resistant to molding into other chakra natures.
This creates a situation where it is easier for some people to learn certain jutsu like in the anime, Sasuke was frustrated because he disappointed his father at not being able to learn the Great Fireball Jutsu. Because he had a strong Lightning affinity, it took him a lot of time to even perform the jutsu, similarly, the lightning affinity is rare in Konoha, so that's why the basic 3 jutsu that the reserve force members are required to learn are Earth natured. This similar strategy could not be used by Kumogakure as most of their members would possibly not even be able to even learn the 3 jutsus.
So Chakra on the basis of how chakra interacts with the environment it could be divided into 4 different categories even before ignoring the many changes because of nature's transformation. The First one would simply be Chakra, or neutral chakra, a sensor could just mold their chakra and they could sense every chakra signature in their surroundings, physical objects don't matter or interfere with their senses. Even the Chakra Echolocation Jutsu could be used as a sonar and it passes through solid objects and only bounces back on from other chakra signatures.
Any of the Five Nature transformations could be pinned together into another category, after the nature of the chakra is changed it normally interacts with physical objects, wind-natured chakra cuts, lightning-natured chakra penetrates, and Fire-natured chakra burns or explodes upon contact. And while Earth and Water Natured chakra couldn't be used as an offensive means like the other three, it could increase the defensive qualities of your weapons or block other attacks.
The Spiritual component of chakra makes up the third category, like the Yamanaka clan technique, and the visual prowess of the Byakugan, they all work with the yin or spiritual part of chakra, so it could be stipulated that the spiritual chakra could pass through objects, it is not bound by the physical world. The physical component on the other hand, like Tsunade's Enhanced strength, could interact with the physical world.
Hiroshi wasn't really sure about the last one, but if Tsunade's Enhanced Strength was just a precise burst of chakra then everyone in the world would just destroy boulders with their chakra. What Hiroshi was guessing was that both Tsunade and Sakura had good enough chakra control to break their chakra into its more basic component and then control the physical energy of the chakra to perform their insane punches and other things. Otherwise just using chakra to enhance your muscles does not make you strong enough to create a mini earthquake.
'I need to stop losing my mind in these crazy theories, my chakra control isn't strong enough right now so there is no point thinking about it' Hiroshi thought as he focused back on the task at hand, he placed the rabbit on another table on the other side of the clearing and a quick application of killing intent cowed the creature to lay still. He applied the chakra seal right on the rabbit's stomach and then carefully injected a small amount of chakra onto the trigger.
As soon as the channeled his chakra through the seal a window popped up in front of him, a small smile appeared on Hiroshi's face as the rabbit jumped from his grasp. The frightened rabbit started running away but after a quick leap Hiroshi captured him once again, as Hiroshi went to return the rabbit to its temporary cage, he read through the couple of windows that appeared in front of him.

The seal compresses your natural chakra by a suppression factor that is determined by how well the matrix is made and how stable it is. The seal may make you feel that there is some external pressure acting upon you.
