A lunch meal had been prepared in just over half an hour with the joint efforts of Ye Que and Chi Zaozao.
During the meal, Chi Zaozao's gaze constantly followed Little Monkey, who was engrossed in eating, as she kept adding more food to his bowl.
With his mouth greasy from eating, Little Monkey looked up at Chi Zaozao with a grateful smile, "Thank you, Mummy."
Chi Zaozao, too, smiled and her eyes brimmed with tenderness and affection as she watched Little Monkey.
Ye Que also added food to Chi Zaozao's bowl, which clearly embarrassed her, and she nodded at him in acknowledgment, "Thank you."
A twitch played at the corner of Ye Que's lips, "You're welcome."
He always felt that Chi Zaozao, who now knew her own identity, had changed a lot, at least she was quieter, more reserved, and extremely polite to him, Ye Que.
Was this change in her for the better?
Ye Que did not know.
