Why can I hear drumbeats so close to my head? Oh wait, it's actually in my head. The pain! Oh God oh God. What the hell happened to me? I can't move my head!

I try opening my mouth but it feels like I swallowed a desert.

Did I go to Egypt or maybe Dubai. Or wait maybe I was kidnapped. But, but...no no I can't think the pain it's too much. If they're gonna kill me they should just do it now. I can't take this pain anymore!

“ Verwica!… ”

It's the sound of death. Nooo!

“ Ver...ca! ”

Why does that sound like my name? No no no no no. I'm not getting up. Just kill me right here.

“ Veronica! ” a deep masculine voice shouts.

Wait is that my dad? Oh so I wasn't kidnapped. What'd I do last night?
