The same thing was happening on Daniel's side. He was working late tonight finalizing on some documents that Alexander would need tomorrow. When he walked out of the office, it was already dark.
All employees had left already so he was the only one left in this large building and he was filling a bit of fear walking around the hallways all by himself.
While walking towards the car park, he felt some people following him. The hairs on his neck stood on end, and a sense of unease washed over him. He quickened his pace, but the footsteps behind him quickened as well, echoing ominously in the deserted street.
Daniel's hand instinctively went to his pocket where he kept his phone, ready to call for help if needed. As he reached the dimly lit corner of the street, he glanced over his shoulder and saw shadowy figures emerging from the darkness, their intentions unclear but undoubtedly menacing.
