**ADDIE'S POV**

The break between terms ended far sooner than I was ready for. I had spent my time home with my family, all of them, and enjoying myself. I wanted to forget the negative thoughts that had been plaguing me, that had messed with my mind for days. And it was working too.

The more time that I spent occupied with family discussions, lunches, dinners, shopping trips, and just spending time together, the less time that I had to dwell on the bad things. I loved that having my family with me, Nolan as well, was like a miracle cure. Happiness made everything in life a million times better.

Even now, as I was flying back to the Academy with Nolan and the others, I was not stressed nearly as much as I had been. As Nolan had said, there was nothing that I could do about it now. If that was just the way that I was, that I was made by the Gods, then I would need to accept it.
