I sat down on my chair and watched them as they left, giggling as they conversed between themselves.

Watching them as they acted unconcerned, caused me to angrily clench my hands into fists. I felt like hitting them for not only asking about my husband, but also calling me Lice.

"Lee?" Brit called out from the door. She waved at me when I locked eyes with her.

"Coming!" I slung my backpack on my back and started down the stairs.

"I thoughts I should wait for you downstairs. Thanks to the stars, I didn't do that. I would have stayed there until nighttime."

"Why are you going to the cafeteria so early in the morning? Don't you have classes?"

"It's almost I o'clock, and you are calling it morning?" She touched my forehead, "Miss Brit must have charmed her class, and caused you to forget the time."

"What?" I checked the time on my wristwatch, "God!"
