The outside world is in chaos, while the people inside Kor city are unaware of the impending disaster coming their way. But some of them already noticed the unusual activity of the soldiers and the espers in the city.
Meanwhile, a few hundreds of kilometers away from the city, a group of people are busily spreading something in the air as they travel in the forest wearing some suits which seem to blend in with their surroundings.

"Humph… Those people in Kor City would pay for their arrogance and ignorance. Everything should fall in order and we humans should go back to nature and stop dwelling inside those barriers. It was like the brush and the paper is floating in the air. Even the driver could not help but take a few glances at the mysterious thing that is happening beside him.
Curt could not use his energy to write glyphs in the air yet. So he could only use this technique so that he could write while in motion.
After finishing the protection talisman, he handed one immediately to Melissa.
"Thank you…" she muttered in a low voice.

When the convoy reaches the gate, Curt stopped and pretended to put everything in the side pocket of his jacket. But in truth, he put them inside his ring.

Meanwhile, Jenny Mae has already got off their truck along with the other members of her team. She saw the direction where Tempest and the masked man flew. She suddenly wanted to go and confirm her suspicion.
Although she could not believe her conjecture, yet she thought that she really saw him. It was curt, the masked man was really Curt.
"Did he said those things because… because he is jealous?" she thought as a complicated feeling envelopes her heart.
"Jenny… where are you going?" suddenly her hand was held by Alan Kane.
Feeling someone holding her, she suddenly shakes his hand unconsciously. Alan suddenly feels that something is wrong with her. She was not that distant from him a while ago. He suddenly feels that Jenny Mae feels somewhat disgusted at what he just did.
"I'm, sorry… I… I have to go… I… I need to do something. Umm… See you… See you in school?!" she said as she turns around and left the place.
She stopped a public transportation tricycle and said to the driver her destination. While sitting in the passenger seat, her heart is in turmoil. She feels like she has done something bad. Her heart feels guilty, but she is also praying that she is wrong.
She is prying that the powerful masked man is not Curt.
And soon, she arrived near the street where Curt's small apartment is. She immediately sneaks into the alley and slowly approaches the apartment on the other side of the road. It is already around 4 pm in the afternoon, and there are many people on the street and children playing.

"I'm good… Where… where are you right now?"
'Me?... I'm at home. It's my day off… Would you like to drop by?'
"I… I'll just pass by."

After Curt said that the door of the house suddenly opens and that familiar handsome face peaks out of the door.
Seeing him, the thorn in the heart of Jenny Mae seems to have been removed as she heaves a sigh of relief.
"I already saw… maybe next time, I will stop by." She suddenly said as she dropped the call.

Jenny Mae watches as Curt's stupefied face just looks at his phone. Then he scratches his head and helplessly smiled like a fool.
Seeing his reaction from afar, Jenny Mae showed a complicated expression on her face. But suddenly her expression changed and a faint smile appears on her face unconsciously.

She then turns around and left in secret.
As her figure drifted away and disappears into the streets, Curt's expression suddenly turns serious. Then he turns around, he almost jumps in fright upon seeing the amused expression on Melissa's face who is standing behind him.
"You… are hiding something from her. Hihi... You know what, I feel like, I'm a third party trying to steal someone's boyfriend… Hihi…" she said while giggling.
Curt just rolled his eyes, and then he heaves a heavy sigh. He was lucky that he returns home and decided to change his clothes and get some of his things. If not, then Jenny Mae would surely have been suspicious of him.
"This invisibility talisman is really neat… I want some of these… okay?" Melissa said while looking at the talisman in her hand.
"We have to go, now… Come on..."
"It's unfair. I want to change clothes too…" Melissa pouted like a small girl but still follow Curt outside while activating the talisman.
The two of them left the house without anyone noticing.
When they arrive at the secret facility, Curt did not waste time and immediately brought out the things he needed from the bag which he brought with him as a cover for his space ring. He began working with the antidote using the Violet Dragon Flower. This is because the flower could be easily concocted and didn't need time to produce the anti-venom. Unlike the extract from the Flood Dragon's venom which would take them days before making one.
Time is of the essence at this time and so Curt did not waste it.
After around 30 minutes, he was able to produce a few vials of the Violet Dragon Flower extract. He instructed them how to administer the vials to the old general. This type of poison-turned-medicine would make the body of the general develop a natural anti-body to fight against the venom which has invaded inside of him.
After that, he and Melissa walked out of the secret facility and secretly donned a new mask.
"We need two hours before the old man could recover and be able to activate the barrier. We'll buy the city the needed two hours…" Curt said.
"You know what, I never imagine you saying those cool words… Haha…"
The two walked out of the secret facility. Melissa has already changed her clothes and is wearing a bulletproof vest. This is because the government is suspecting that the attack is being initiated by the terrorist group. Once outside, they then flew towards the eastern gate of the city.
When they arrived they are greeted with many espers and soldiers already rushing towards the gate. Outside of the gate, there are already hundreds of espers and soldiers preparing for the incoming horde.
Those who are proficient in earth magic immediately use their powers to create barricades and walls to defend the city.
Meanwhile, Vipercrown and the rest of the members of the Basilisk Head are already geared up for battle. When he saw the two, an apologetic smile appears on his face.
"You two are here, this is great! Umm… Guys… I'm sorry that the cure did not work. I wonder why they failed?" he said with an apologetic smile.
"No worries, it was their fault for the wrong dosage… Hehe…" Curt replied.
"Really! I almost went on a rampage inside there… I thought they sabotage that thing. If it is not for doctor Ong's presence, I would truly think that there was a conspiracy… Damn…"
The rest of his team rolled their eyes at their leader's comment. Although Vipercrown is a good leader, sometimes he lacks patience and control in other things. As his teammates they are already aware of such a thing, so they reacted that way.
"How many hours do we need?" Vipercrown asked with a serious tone this time.
"Three at most, two at least…" Melissa replied as she added a buffer time.

Meanwhile, on another side, a pair of eyes are glued towards the masked man. Jenny Mae who has also returned after taking a quick break is carefully looking at the masked man with her curious eyes. She really wanted to see the person inside that white mask.
This time Curt is wearing a normal full face mask white mask that can easily be bought anywhere in the market.
"You guys go ahead. I'll be following behind… I have to prepare this place first." Curt said waving goodbye to the group.
Once the Basilisk Head team left along with the advance group of the army, a figure approaches Curt.
When Curt turns around he saw the hesitant expression of Jenny Mae. Right now he is feeling a complicated emotion inside his heart.
This is because he has already realized that this woman is not the same woman that is in his memories. His fantasy was over ever since he saw her being held by another guy. Although he didn't want to judge her, yet he could not help his heart from feeling hurt.
"Umm… I'm sorry…" Jenny Mae suddenly said while biting her lower lip.
Curt was stunned and suddenly didn't know what to do next. His mind actually suddenly turned blank.
