Such a long process. I rubbed my eyes and sighed, I wound up not attending the last day of school or even the graduation. Mostly thanks to going to the hospital again. Going to the police station multiple days. Eventually leading up to Rumi giving me a lecture. She decided that I had in fact needed to be punished. So she made me clean the entire house and even the neighbors' houses.
The guy, Stain, apparently had killed 2 different heroes. So I got a lot of lectures about how I was lucky. How I was unlicensed and thankfully I didn't use my quirk or fight back. They gave me some praise about how I saved someone, but I shouldn't do something like this again.
Now however I had to wake up because it was UA exams. I had no idea why they made it at the start of the summer, but it was whatever. Just meant I could train more before actually getting into UA. Jess would have it easier though. UA business course exams are taken 2 weeks after the hero courses. The production classes were even later. So much more time to study.
Thankfully those that fail because they weren't very fit are still able to come back another year. Lucky them…
The instructions about the exam were pretty simple, 4 types of robots and only three of them give points. I should be able to get this done easily. I cracked my knuckles and looked over the crowd. I saw a lot of people preparing their quirks.
I thought about the exam, it was fairly one sided. If one had a quirk that only worked on living creatures it would suck for them. Second, if one had a support quirk they'd have a harder time as well. Each of the robots had 3 kill switches, apparently even the 0 pointer had 3 switches. So it wasn't impossible for those with little physical skills, but it would still be hard.
I scratched my head in thought. Honestly it seemed unfair however if one were to take in account that this is the hero entrance exam. Well, wouldn't you get points for doing heroic things like helping people and so on? Present mic hadn't said anything about that though.
So I guess that in itself was a test to see who does the right thing naturally, or figure that there would be a secondary point system. Which means you would lose points if you steal other people's points. Killing stealing in the wild would be fine, but in this exam setting it could easily become a problem.
After all, if we were to look at the test. Hm, multiple types of robots, the zero pointer is like a destruction type to deal with problematic heroes. If this was a real scenario, one could likely assume that there is some kind of control device.
I mean surely they would add something like that for quirk users that rely on information. Right? I'd confirm this during the exam.
For now it seemed since I was in the last group we'd have to wait a little bit. The groups were starting the exams one by one. This was likely to do some clean up if people got injured. This was actually taking a while. I sighed, I was so ready.
"START!!!!!!"
I jumped up and everyone started to rush in. I clicked my tongue, of course we started when I relaxed."
----This chapter turned out shorter in the re-write since I moved the evolution stuff to the previous chapter.----
Yet again he can not feel see the quirk messages, they are just here for us.
