The room was steeped in shadows, the only source of illumination a single flickering bulb that cast eerie, dancing silhouettes upon the cracked walls. The air was thick with tension, electric with the anticipation of the unknown. In the centre of the room sat a lone figure, bound to a rickety wooden chair. His head was shrouded in darkness, a hood pulled low over his face, denying him the ability to see.

'Where am I?' the captive questioned himself as he shook his head trying to move. 

he felt his hands and legs tied with the chair in which he was seated. He was now sure, he was kidnapped.
