The three drew out their swords and stood in a defensive position protecting the person they called princess.

A woman with black hair spoke in a neutral tone "who are you?"
"Hmm… it's not right" Alan said as he flashed a smile staring at the women "I am the one who should be asking you the questions"
One of the women spoke as she raised a sword at Alan "How dare you to disrespect the princess"

Alan's smile grew wider.

"Come at me" Alan took a sword out.
The woman dashed towards Alan swinging her sword.
"No don't" the princess screamed warning her comrade.
But she wasn't in a state to listen, she couldn't stand anyone who disrespected the princess.

Alan blocked her sword, as she kept using her strength to push Alan back.
"… you are weak" Alan shifted the momentum of the sword to his right.
Bam
Alan gave a sidekick to her ribs.

She crashed after spearing a couple of trees.
"… agh" she coughed a puddle of blood and fell unconscious.
"Sheesh, I didn't hit that hard" Alan was seriously surprised, he didn't know if they were weak or has, he grown stronger.
The princess screamed at Alan with rage "how dare you hurt her?"
Zing
She immediately drew her sword and pointed at Alan.
The three charged at Alan without thinking.

Alan kept dodging their attacks.
They stopped after a minute and looked at each other.
Nod
One went to Alan's to the left, the other to the right while the princess stood in the middle glaring at Alan.
She gripped her sword tighter as mana flowed into her sword, it was something similar to sword ki that Alan remembers from anime he used to watch in his past life.

"you bastard, let go of our princess" the two screamed at Alan in harmony.
Alan didn't care and continued to interrogate her.
"…" the princess was startled by Alan's actions.

Tears started flowing out of her eyes.

"Then, why are you touching her ears?" she asked with a cold look on her face.
"Sob idiot let me go" the princess shouted at Alan.
"I just wanted to know how they feel" he shrugged his shoulders.
"…huh? 'Does he not know what it means to touch their ears and tail'" she looked at Alan with a dry look and facepalmed.
Alan was dumbfounded, he didn't know why Isabelle is asking him stupid questions, and why was the woman lying on the ground crying. He didn't even fight back against her.

Isabelle sighed visibly.
Isabelle didn't know how to react to his lack of knowledge. She knew he was in a coma from their conversation last day.

Isabelle walked towards Alan and looked at the woman Alan was holding.
