"You killed them…?" Cartilagios' voice showed the beast's confusion at the events that just happened.

It was so simple and smooth that he couldn't believe his own eyes. His companions that were by all means stronger than Lux were killed just like that, in a second.

"How dare you… How dare you!!!" Cartilagios lost his calm, and in the heat of the moment he tried to lunge at Lux and erase him from this world!

'Good, be angry with me, big dog.' Despite Cartilagios clearly having the head of a tiger, Lux didn't address him as kitty, but as a dog.

It was simply because right now, Cartilagios looked like a mad dog ready to bite him.

Lux was happy to see this idiotic beast losing its sense of reason and try to kill him with everything it got because that's what he wanted to achieve.

This made his job much easier, especially because the other Forgotten Beasts couldn't give Cartilagios a helping hand if something was to happen.
