Capítulo 1: Vados' Precognitive Dream

"Kahn, I've worked really hard to set you up with this girl today. She's beautiful and has a great personality. You need to seize this chance," Chichi said earnestly, dressed in formal attire.

Kahn, seated upright in his suit and leather shoes, adjusted his collar and replied, "Let's wait until she gets here. If she doesn't like me, there's not much I can do."

This was Kahn's fifth blind date this month. The previous four had failed for various reasons.

'Sigh, I didn't expect blind dating to be so difficult in the Dragon Ball world,' Kahn thought, frowning inwardly.

Kahn, a twenty-five-year-old Saiyan, was Son Goku's older brother. He had transmigrated to the Dragon Ball world twenty-five years ago, becoming the second son of Bardock and Gine, born a year before Son Goku. When Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, Bardock sent him to Earth with Son Goku. However, as a low-level Saiyan warrior, his current combat power was too weak.

Despite training hard, Kahn's strength was still inferior to Son Goku's. Even though Son Goku was also a low-level Saiyan warrior, being the main character naturally made him stronger.

Kahn was now waiting for his blind date because his long-awaited system had finally arrived a month ago. However, the prerequisite for activating it was getting married. With no girlfriend and Raditz's arrival on Earth imminent, Kahn needed to quickly improve his strength to avoid being killed alongside Son Goku.

Marriage via blind dates seemed his best option. Some might suggest marrying Bulma, but their past relationship had ended due to their busy lives and lack of time together. Though they still had feelings for each other, it had been over two years since they last saw each other, making it abrupt to seek a reunion and marriage now.

Chichi, though a good wife and mother, was not an option since she was his brother's wife.

"Why can't you change your request? There's really nothing I can do about you," Chichi said, holding her forehead in exasperation.

In fact, the previous blind dates had women who were very satisfied with Kahn. Handsome, masculine, and strong, he provided a sense of security. However, his insistence on immediate marriage was off-putting. The women preferred to get to know him over a few months before considering marriage, leading to the failure of his first four blind dates.

As Kahn's younger sister/friend, Chichi was worried about him finding a lifelong partner.

"This is the one thing I absolutely cannot change," Kahn replied firmly. Without activating the system before Raditz's arrival, further blind dates would be pointless.

Meanwhile, on the roof of the tallest building in Western Capital, a stunning, tall, and slender woman with an exquisitely delicate face overlooked the city. Her cold eyes, combined with her tight uniform that perfectly outlined her figure, and the breeze fluttering her silver-white ponytail, created an aura of elegance and strength.

Beside her, the Grand Priest stood with his hands behind his back, surveying the bustling city. "Vados, have you really decided? If you get hurt in the future, don't come back to me crying."

"Yes, Lord Grand Priest, I have made my decision," Vados replied, her tone firm and her beautiful purple eyes blinking.

Vados, an angel from the sixth universe, had appeared here due to a precognitive dream in which she saw her beloved. They walked hand in hand, completed their marriage, and lived a full and happy life together. To understand human love, Vados had interviewed many humans in the sixth universe. In her dream, her love left her at the end of his life, leaving her heartbroken. Awakening to find herself in tears, Vados knew she couldn't lose him. She wanted to find him, give him eternal life, and be with him forever.

Using her Angel staff, Vados found that her prophetic love was Kahn. She approached the Grand Priest, who initially disagreed, citing her duties as an angel and the lack of precedent for an angel falling in love with a human. But Vados threatened to violate the principle of absolute neutrality of the Angels and disappear forever if he refused. Helpless, the Grand Priest agreed and assigned another angel to her position in the sixth universe.

For today's blind date with Kahn, Vados had taken off her Angel attire. Even her lite blue skin had been changed to a human complexion.

"Since you've made up your mind to go, I won't say anything more. I wish you happiness," said the Grand Priest. As he spoke, a purple space vortex appeared behind him, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished into it.

After the Grand Priest left, a touch of tenderness flashed across Vados' beautiful purple violet eyes. With a swift movement, she appeared at the restaurant she had arranged with Chichi.

Taking a moment to compose herself, Vados glanced at her reflection in a window, ensuring her appearance was perfect. She took a deep breath and stepped into the restaurant. Although it wasn't peak dining time, the place had quite a few guests. As soon as Vados entered, she immediately drew every eye in the room.

She was stunning. Her dignified, elegant, and cool demeanor, combined with a faint smile on her lips. The male customers in the restaurant were all captivated by her beauty.

Kahn was no exception. He stared at Vados as she walked toward his table, momentarily frozen. One part of him was deeply attracted by her stunning appearance, while another part was shocked by her resemblance to the Angel Vados of the sixth universe.

"Isn't this… Vados?" Kahn wondered, marveling at the uncanny similarity. She looked exactly like the sixth universe's Angel Vados, save for the different skin color and attire.

While Kahn was dazed, Vados approached him and Chichi, politely saying, "Hi, I'm Vados."

"Miss Chichi, is this Mr. Kahn you mentioned?"

"Ah, yes, yes!" Chichi hurriedly patted Kahn, snapping him out of his daze. "Kahn, don't just stand there. She is Vados, your blind date."

"Huh? Oh…" Kahn came back to his senses, quickly stood up, and bowed slightly. "Hi, Miss Vados, I'm Kahn. Please, have a seat."

Vados was amused by Kahn's flustered demeanor. She pursed her lips and smiled lightly before taking her seat.

"Kahn, Miss Vados, please take your time. I won't intrude, so I'll be off now," Chichi said tactfully. She knew her presence wasn't needed here.

Once Chichi left, Kahn coughed tactically to ease the slightly awkward atmosphere. The Miss Vados before him, although she looked exactly like the sixth universe Angel and even shared the same name, couldn't possibly be her. The sixth universe's Angel had duties to perform and couldn't just come to Earth for a blind date with a mortal.

'Maybe it's just a coincidence,' Kahn thought, still somewhat incredulous. This Ms. Vados was not only beautiful but also had a top-notch temperament. Why would she need to resort to blind dates? She must have many suitors.

As Kahn pondered, Vados's voice, like a silver bell, broke his thoughts. "Mr. Kahn, what do you want and expect from me?"

"Ah, well," Kahn said, embarrassed, "Shouldn't we get to know each other first? Isn't it a bit too fast to talk about requests now?"

Vados shook her head, smiling. "I don't think those things are too important."

In her precognitive dream, Vados had learned all about Kahn. Even his somewhat reserved and withdrawn personality was just as she had seen. To Vados, Kahn's introverted nature was quite endearing.

"Ah, well…" Kahn scratched his head. "Why don't you tell me what you want from me first?"

Vados smiled warmly. "I'm very satisfied with you. I don't have any requirements."

Kahn was at a loss for words. He pinched his thigh hard, and the sharp pain confirmed he wasn't dreaming. 'This is so unreal…'

Such a beautiful woman had no demands of him? If he hadn't experienced it himself, Kahn wouldn't have believed it.

"Mr. Kahn, tell me your requirements."

"My request is simple. I don't want to go home alone at night. Ideally, I'd like to get married within a month."

To his surprise, Vados smiled and said, "No problem. We can get married tomorrow if you want."

"The Fuck?" Kahn was shocked!

Though Vados's words didn't make him jump up, they did make him spit out the tea he had just drunk.

"Mr. Kahn, are you okay?" Vados asked, concerned by his reaction.

"I'm fine," Kahn waved his hand, still processing her words. 'What the hell? We can get married tomorrow? This doesn't feel real.'

But the facts were before him, and he couldn't deny them. "Miss Vados, I have to explain. Though I may be handsome and have a good personality, my family background isn't great. I have no parents, and I mostly farm to make ends meet. If you marry me, I won't be able to meet your material needs. Can you accept that?"

Vados giggled, her laughter melodious.

"Uh, what's so funny?" Kahn asked, bewildered.

"Nothing," Vados quickly stopped laughing. "Mr. Kahn, your honesty is something I admire. Since I've chosen to marry you, I don't care about your background or material possessions."

"Besides, I'm also good at housework, so I can take some of the pressure off you," Vados added, her eyes sparkling in the sunlight streaming through the restaurant's large windows.

Hearing these words, Kahn patted his face, feeling as if he were in a dream. The soft murmur of other diners and the clinking of cutlery around them faded into the background. He looked at Vados, her beauty highlighted by the natural light. She had a perfect figure and could do housework. The best part was, she had no demands and didn't care about his family background. This woman was a fairy!

Immediately, Kahn jumped up, nearly knocking over his glass of iced tea. "Ah, this is prefect! Since Miss Vados is fine with it, I can't justify not marrying you."

In that moment, Kahn felt a strong sense of anticipation for this marriage. A beautiful, kind, understanding, gentle, and virtuous wife was what he had dreamed of for many years. With a wife like this, what more could a husband ask for?

Kahn and Vados continued their conversation, their voices mingling with the ambient sounds of the bustling restaurant. Despite this being their first meeting—a blind date set up by Chichi—their connection felt natural and effortless. Little did Kahn know, Vados had a precognitive dream about him and had known about him long before today. This knowledge made her feel at ease, as if they were already familiar with each other. They discussed their interests and hobbies, the sunlight casting playful shadows on their faces. They both believed that their relationship could be cultivated slowly after marriage. Neither Kahn nor Vados was in a hurry.

Finally, after savoring the last bites of their lunch, Kahn and Vados decided to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get their marriage certificate in the afternoon. They agreed that the wedding would be held three days later, amidst the bright, cheerful ambiance of the restaurant.
