Gazing through the window at a blue sky and loving the sun, I checked the weather app on my phone for the third time today.

I smiled at the screen like an idiot. A happy one.

At some point, my body's biological clock began regulating the cycle of rhythms differently. Measuring time like it was endless… It was convinced that I was immortal, even if technically, that wasn't true.

That dark incident of torturing Elena at her office was my personal BCE/CE notation. I wasn't the same monster after it.

Did I cross a line back then?

Yes.

But by crossing it I found a new light.

BCE was the darkest of all times for me. I was lost, lied to, and forced to act normal when not a single thing was normal about me.
