Capítulo 38: Chantless Magic: Part 1
I didn't expect her to approach me to learn my ice magic. My ice magic isn't really magic but was a yin type martial arts that I learned from a woman's book who specialized in the arts of yin and ice. The martial art was a drop that I got from her and modified it to my liking, that woman was a boss entity that mostly used stuns with a duration of minutes.
"Isn't there a teacher who specializes in ice magic? Why not go to them?", I kindly reply.
"The ice magic you had used on me was something we aren't capable of. The ice that came out from the ground didn't show of any signs of melting even after the professors used fire magic on it, I could even say that our family's inherent magic wouldn't be on par with your magic.", Delia replies.
Inherent Magic is a magic technique that only the maker's family can learn and is passed down from generation to generation, teaching the magic technique to a person who isn't part of the family is a grave sin. To say that the ice magic I used on her is stronger than their family's inherent magic, I can guess then she's completely ready to discard what she had learned from her own family to learn more from me.
"We also want to learn from you professor Angel!", Lyla shouts.
"I would also like to learn from you professor Angel.", Ahren Von Ascania says in a shy tone
The students who stayed in the classroom also shouted to express their willingness to learn from me. To think that they'd want to learn more when cultivation is something different on what they had originally learned to get stronger and better. If their resolve is that strong then there's no reason to decline it, I'd do my best to reach the version of themselves that they want.
"So professor, what's your answer? I'll sincerely apologize for what I've done in the past and to the bullying that I have done to Lyla, I'll also
change my ways if that's the condition for you to teach me.", Delia North condescends.
"I wouldn't be called a teacher if I refuse to teach my own students, I'll teach you my own way and no one shall complain to anything that I tell you to do, those are my only conditions to teach you all. Does anybody have anything to ", I sternly say in front of them.
"I accept the conditions, I'm ready for any training that you give me to do(as long as I can surpass my older siblings, I'll do anything).", Delia answers
"I'll accept as well." Lyla answers
"I accept as well.", Ahren answers
So did the other seven students that were inside the classroom, they've accepted the conditions without thinking on what comes next.
I led them to a certain part of the forest near the academy where we will have the cultivation and training would take place, I putted up a sound proofing formation so that there wouldn't be any noise coming from the academy that could distract us.
"Before I start anything, go and throw your wands away.", I say with a grin on my face
Everybody was startled to what I had said, that's normal since a wand or a staff is a beginner magician's closest partner that eases the invocation of magic. I'm going to teach them the chantless magic.
"What's the matter? I thought that all of you would do anything which is part of the conditions.", I say to them with a smirk.
"I'll throw it.", Delia complies
Delia dropped her wand, then followed by Ahren, Lyla and the others. I thought that Ahren would make some complaints about this but I guess not.
"The reason why I made you all throw away your wands is because you won't be needing them. I'll be teaching you all chantless magic.", I say with a smile
"Isn't chantless magic only achievable after mastering casting!? That's impossible for our level!", Ahren doubtingly says
"Don't say that its impossible, this is the reason for our training, everyone of you will be able to master chantless magic if you continue my training. Before we start, I'd like everybody to introduce themselves and state their magic!", I shout
