"What? But what about the pursuers?" One of the students protested, his voice hinged with fear as he questioned Eugene. The students were grateful that Eugene paused to take a break, however, their moment of happiness didn't last long because of this one student's words. 

Everyone turned to Eugene and looked at her in a face that showed, is it really possible to take a break?

Eugene turned towards the students and looked at all of them carefully from head to toe. She did not miss a single person and observed them in great detail, and once she was done she opened her mouth, "We can afford 5 minutes."

Eugene turned around and walked away for a second and came back a second later. She opened her water gourd and took a small sip without her lips touching the gourd before passing it to the student closest to her.
