Dusk.

Lu Lingche returned home from work early, but didn't see Qiao Yin. Instead, he came across Lan Yuyi.

"Yuyi, why are you here?"

Lan Yuyi replied softly, "I'm here to take care of Miss Qiao."

"You need someone to take care of you, why would you come to look after her? Go home, it's getting late."

Lan Yuyi closed her mouth abruptly.

"Is there anything else?"

"Did you make breakfast for Miss Qiao?"

Lu Lingche nodded, "I did, why?"

"Don't be upset when I tell you this!"

Lu Lingche remained unmoved, "Why would I be upset."

"Miss Qiao seems to dislike what you made, she didn't take a bite before she left. But, it might not necessarily be because she dislikes it, maybe she just didn't have the appetite. At least, I've always thought your cooking is delicious."

Lu Lingche glanced at the dining table. It was exactly the way he left it in the morning.

Qiao Yin didn't touch it a bit.

How dare she waste the food he had prepared!

When had he ever wasted the food she cooked?
