Hours Later

I jump up from my deep sleep! Someone is screaming!

Looking around in a panic as I brace myself, I wait to see movement! This is it! The moment I've been dreading. My assassin is finally going to do what he was hired to do! I cling to my pillow and shut my eyes, waiting for Ryder to jump out of the darkness and kill me.

Nothing happens.

I quickly turn the lamp on and find myself alone in my room. The light in my bathroom is off.

I'm safe!

For the time being.

Passing my hand through my hair, I instantly relax. What time is it? I look over at the alarm clock.

11:45 pm.

I lie back down and hear it again when I am about to find my sleep! It's coming from the other side of the wall!

Someone screams!

It's Ryder!

I cover my face with a pillow and scream into it! Is he going to suffer from these night terrors all of the time?

Because of his poor choices in life, I have to suffer! I knew I shouldn't have switched rooms!
