Capítulo 109: Chapter 108 The Meeting of The Dragon Kings
"It's finally nice to see you, genius of the century Karna Vermillion"
Igneel's voice greeted Karna as he adjusted his sight to what he was seeing.
Right now, he was standing on a mountain with the peak higher than the clouds. The surroundings were also filled with clouds, but nothing was above the top of the mountain. He looked ahead and saw similar mountains with larger widths with a total of five dragons. Each sitting on tops a mountain.
Igneel seemed to be sitting on a mountain with shining hot lava flowing from it. From what he saw, the lave seemed to have reached a temperature with which it will be able to make a large pond vanish with just the temperature of a drop, but luckily the heat was not spreading. Metallicana was sitting on a mountain that seemed to have a lot of metallic minerals in it with most seemed to be made of black colour and from what he saw, Karna can see that those metals will be a bit difficult for him to break as well if it comes down to it.
Then there was Grandine, whose mountain seemed to have extra circles of clouds along with a glow that seemed to elude calming atmosphere around her. Showcasing her mastery of the skies as well as in the arts of healing and support.
The last but not the least two mountains stood side by side closer that all the other mountains with one made pure white shining marble while the other was made up shadows so dark that Karna was not even able to see its shape clearly other than a black smudge on the clouds.
All the dragons were looking at me with great interest and from that I can see that they might have been keeping an eye on me from their respective dragon slayers. But before that,
"What do you mean genius of the century" I asked a bit confused at their title for me.
Grandine replied
"Well, the last genius of the century we saw was Zeref the black wizard. And you my dear managed to create a magic that even he himself was not able to create despite everything that he had tried. Therefore, my dear your potential can be considered as the best in the world right now as well as centuries ago when we roamed around the world"
Grandine concluded and all the other dragons seemed to be in agreement with it as well.
I was glad that the body in front of them was some kind of mental image. Cause I was sure that if it was my real body, they would have seen me sweat at the way these guys were treating me. I should have said that I gained the magic from one of my quests and it activated when I met the drakons. But since I had presented it to them as a creation of my own, many has been treating me as a genius never seen before.
After that I had tried my best to learn things as much as I can by overusing my mind palace to its maximum and learning about every piece of knowledge that I can get my hands on. Including information about magics in which I have no talent, but the funny thing was my track record of having no civilian casualty or collateral damage in any of my missions had actually marked me as one of the smartest members of my guild as we were famous for being headstrong and highly destructive in things that we do. Even Cana has a few track records of when she had lost her cool during her missions and caused more than enough destructions in many different places.
"We came here so as to speak to you about the decision that we dragons had made 400 years ago and the secrets of why we disappeared from the lives of the dragon slayers that we had raised"
"To deal with Acknalogia right" I interrupted Igneel
This shook all five of them as their eyes widened a bit with me revealing the secret of the decision they had taken, sacrificing their body and life, just so that a few children they had raised as their own can have enough power to live their lives peacefully as humans and survive against the onslaught of a dragon serial killer.
"How could you even know that" Igneel was shocked as this secret was not known by only two people other than the five standing in front of the boy.
Other than Anna Heartfilia who had sacrificed everything to aid the mission and Zeref who had designed the Eclipse gate, no one else had known about this mission. Even the King that had promised to guard the gate and pass it on to future generations was not told about its significance other than a sentence that it was the hope for the future.
There were no records or rumours, nothing of the sort was left in the world, so how did this boy come to know about it. All dragons had the same question in their mind.
"Don't be too shocked, I know of it because I have information from the future" Karna replied
Unlike the drakon fragment incident, information from the future was a highly useful excuse that can help me in many cases and since that part of the future has been erased due to my hand in destroying the eclipse gate before anything happened, no one will be able to find out the specifics of what happened unless through my words. Since I will be able to provide information that is considered as secrets by the people who know about the particular information.
Plus, I will be able to act on many problems that will happen and tell everyone that I had acted due to the information I know from the future.
And right now its time to have a conversation with the dragons to complete a few objectives he had planned.
A/N- hope you like it, chapters will be few for the next few weeks, though I will try to fix and correct a lot of previous chapters as they will take less time.
