It had been seven days since Nina left the house, but Shane seemed composed. His aura executed calmness.
Miles Sinclair had thought that Shane would go too quiet or would at least take off from the office. His son needed to channel his hatred and resentment towards a woman like Nina.
But Shane sounded too chirpy and didn't quit the office. His colleagues had told Shane how he had become more pleasant towards his employees and how he had started treating every one of them with extreme respect and courtesy.
Miles hadn't expected any of it. It seemed like Shane was waiting for Nina to leave and once she walked out, he had started feeling lighter.
"Are you really happy or is it just a facade," Miles asked his son who was humming while going to a meeting.
Shane's only answer was his simple signature smile without any explanations.
However, Miles's next words made him stop midway when he was applying gel to his hair, "She will come back, son."
