"Where is the one who spoke with me earlier?"
Liza sat inside the main office of her father while seeing James standing in front of her. She expected to see Chris, but another wolf just stepped into her dominion.
"I'm here to speak for the pack," James didn't feel any offense from her cold tone as he grabbed a seat and sat in front of her. The two sat on two opposite sides of each other, one at each end of the meeting table.
There was no seat there against Liza before. But James slowly dragged the seat and positioned it against her. It was a sign of his intentions and a silent show of power.
This small gesture didn't miss Liza's eyes. She watched this full of himself-James-with no interest. "Where is that wolf who spoke with me before? I told him I won't speak with anyone but him," she said in a colder tone.
