In the middle of such a big conference room, inside the alpha office, Jeremy-the acting alpha-was looked at with eyes of doubt and suspicions.

However and ironically speaking, Jeremy had nothing to do with anything that happened to his sister! He sat there with all the loss over his face, honesty expressing his innocence and lack of knowledge.

And as everyone doubted him, he doubted everyone in return.

"We need to figure out something to lead us to the identity of that man," Jeremy knew that keeping such an ill atmosphere wouldn't help. He wanted to find that man who abducted his sister and try to release her from his grasp.

After all he suddenly lost all the credit to his seat and his secured future looked hazy in his eyes.

Yes he fabricated a document to gain his current seat as an alpha, but without making sure his sister died and left this life for good he couldn't have a single moment of rest.
