Nine hours passed, and the slime was still absorbing the resources. It had absorbed a lot more than I had thought, but I prepared more.
A lot more; it had only absorbed a quarter of what I had prepared. I didn't want to take any chances and looking at things in the past nine hours; it had been a wise decision.
I had gone to the library to work on the inheritance, but couldn't focus. So, I returned and sent my clone; there was no need for the two of us to stay here.
Anything goes wrong or needs to be done. I am more than capable of doing it.
Another hour passed and then another, when finally, the consumption of resources slowed down. It took a little more than half an hour, for it to stop and tentacles to recede.
I waved my hand and brought out all the spheres out of the slime.
For a couple of seconds, everything was silent, before the reaction appeared on the charts.
