Katherine heard the sound of footsteps. She and Lyra turned their heads toward the direction. Lyra was startled to see Emily with Adrian and started worrying about Adrian and Katherine's relationship.

" Oh my God! How can anyone bring your ex-fiance to the mansion! That means whatever we heard in the news was true! " Lyra exclaimed in surprise. She was looking at Emily with hatred.

" Kathie…Why are you silent! " Lyra questioned.

Katherine glared at Lyra, " Go to your home" she informed her. She shut her mouth with one sentence.

" From today, Emily will stay with us…" Adrian informed his wife with a stern face. Katherine looked at Emily and agreed with him by nodding her head.

" Is everything alright! " Katherine asked Emily. She lowered her head and said, " I fought with my father. I have no place to stay here in this city. So, I asked Adrian to pick me "
