Capítulo 15: Chapter 15 Dropping the bombshell.

"LiLi" Old Madam Ning's excited voice could be heard as the old woman walked down the stairs in hurry with the help of a maid, fearing that her LiLi would disappeared.

"Slow down, Grandma" Ning Li said worriedly as she walked to the old lady.

"Aha, come here, come here" Old Madam Ning called out as she opened her arm, ready to have her granddaughter in her embrace.

"Grandma" she called out as she reached the ild woman and then walked to the warm embrace.

"Ommo, my baby has grown up" exclaimed the old lady happily as she patted Ning Li's back.

"I miss you grandma" like a baby, Ning Li buried her face in her grandmother's neck and the old lady smiled with red eyes.

The maids around them felt somewhat emotional, especially Butler He and Xiao Fan that she grew up with, they both are crying already.

"Okay there, you are still like a baby, wetting my clothes with your tears". Old Madam Ning complained wth a smile and she still patted her granddaughter's back, showing that she didn't mind.

"Let me see you clearly now".

They separated from the hug and Old Madam Ning finally looked at her granddaughter.

She didn't change much, except that she get prettier and the aura on her had changed and her features were now more prominent.

"Grandma, how are you too?, how is your health?" Ning Li asked after her grandmother finished checking her out.

Old Madam Ning let out a soft chuckle. "I am strong as a bullet."

"Pfft, I can see that from afar".

"Brat, are you mocking me?"

"No, I am simply too glad"

They both chatted as they walked to sit on a couch.

Ning Li was asked a lot of questions by Old Madam Ning, all entailing on how her day there was like, how she lived and so on and Ning Li answered every questions of hers.

After a while, Ning Li decided to tell the old lady about her children.

"Grandma, I...I have something to talk to you about" Ning Li stammered.

"Oh, I am all ear" with 100% attentiveness, Old Madam Ning waited for her to say something but Ning Li just kept darting her gaze around like a kid caught red handed.

Now, Old Madam Ning became even more curious as what the talk was about and how heavy it was for the confident Ning Li to not be able to say anything.

"Okay, if you can't say it now, then let's talk after lunch, okay?".

With a forced smile, Ning Li nodded.

Soon, the meals were served and they are all seafood, Ning Li's favorite.

As usual, she got more food on her plate everytime she finished one and the lobsters piled up like a small mountain in front of her.

"Grandma, you should eat more too, I am almost full already". Ning Li said helplessly.

"Okay okay, if that's what you want".

After they finished eating, they walked out to the beautiful garden to take a stroll to aid in the food digestion.

"So, what do you want to tell me?" Old Madam Ning asked as they walked.

Ning Li took almost five minutes to sort out the words in her heart, she have to say it, right?.

"Grandma, I got you two grandchildren" she said, at least she thought, but that's in her head because what came out of her tongue is; "Hmm, Grandma, I lied to you".

"You lied to me, when?" Old Madam Ning asked with curious eyes.

"Well, it should be fine if I didn't look at her in the eyes" Ning Li thought and she swallowed before finally explaining everything to her grandmother, how she discovered that her boyfriend cheated on her, how she went to a bar and forget to locked the door and how she was raped till how she gave birth.

Old Madam Ning stared at her with wide eyes and before Ning Li could registered anything, the old woman fainted.
