It was already afternoon when Tao went to fetch Bella Lim and little pumpkin to Hillside Villa. When he was given the task, Tao was surprised. However, he applauded Eric Wu's sentiment after knowing the whole story.
"Miss Bella, Mr. Ryan, although this isn't your first time to Hillside Villa, I would like to welcome you. Welcome!" Tao curtsied, one arm behind his back and the other spread towards the massive villa in front of them.
"Thank you," Bella Lim smiled as she held little pumpkin's hand who looked like a rabbit ready to explore the field. She looked at her surroundings as she took a deep breath.
'Fighting!'
She cheered inside. This was it. No more whining about life. No more crying like a weak woman.
As of now, she should look forward and continued her life as well as little pumpkin in the best way they could.
"Miss Bella, Mr. Ryan," a beautiful, middle-aged woman was seen descending the huge steps from the big entrance of the villa. She was wearing formal attire. A slim-cut navy suit with a white shirt and a pair of heels. Minimal jewelry enhanced her whole look.
To Bella Lim, the woman looked sophisticated and elegant at the same time. The way she carried herself was truly like a lady from a noble descendent. Without realizing, she already admired the woman.
"Miss Bella, this is Madam Olivia. The one and only female that could handle the president," Tao introduced the middle-aged woman to Bella Lim. The woman named Olivia slapped Tao's back. She glared at Tao who was giggling non-stopped.
Bella Lim could tell the good relationship between the two.
"Madam Olivia, I leave them to you. I need to return to the office or your s--the president would roast me," Tao coughed as he almost spilled the truth about Olivia. When he saw her looking at him sharply, he immediately excused himself.
Bella Lim smiled as she watched the banter between the two. She didn't notice anything because she perceived their interaction as normal. People who were close had no qualm to play around each other.
"Miss Bella, Mr. Ryan," Olivia turned around with a smile as bright as the sun to greet the siblings.
"Please come with me, I'll show you around. Eric had given me a very specific instruction saying that I should make the two of you feel comfortable and settled down as soon as you can," she sounded excited with her hands danced along with the tone of her voice.
Bella Lim wanted to respond but seeing Olivia already walking, she also walked together with little pumpkin. She was curious about Olivia's relationship with Eric Wu as she was someone she never saw appeared with him in the past. Maybe because her only focus was the man himself.
"Madam Oliv-" Bella Lim wanted to ask but was cut by the speedy yet clear voice of Olivia.
"There are not many rules to follow, but I would say, respect each other,"
"Breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be prepared by the chef, but you can also cook by yourselves. Housekeeping will be done by the staff. Btw, they don't live here so at times you need to adjust. Eric didn't like many people in the house so all the staff actually stayed outside,"
Bella Lim heard her laughed. Her lips were moving, itching to speak but once again was beaten by the loud, eager voice of Olivia.
"Don't worry, the staff will come and leave without making many noises. A quiet environment is guaranteed,"
"-- And they don't gossip. Eric is too scary for them to gossip," Olivia said with laughter which soon ended with a sigh.
"Sigh... that's the reason he becomes a loner without a woman. Do you know, I was so excited when he informed that you guys are coming. I feel like all of my effort finally bear fruits," Olivia lamented and then turned around towards Bella Lim.
"Thank you for opening his heart," she whispered, full of gratitude.
Bella Lim was dumbfounded as she watched Olivia's lips rose into a pretty, sincere smile. It was only after seeing her grinning happily did she understood her meaning.
"No-no-no, I'm just a friend," she waved her hand in hope that her words could correct her notion. However, the middle-aged woman smiled widely as she nodded, closing her eyes to tell that she understood.
"I know, but who knows about the future," Olivia spoke in a cool voice and proceeded to explain about the whole area in the villa.
Bella Lim sighed. She really hoped such a big misunderstanding wouldn't occur on her first day here. Still, she decided to let it go as Olivia seemed to be a nice person. She carried little pumpkin who looked tired from the whole tour. They just finished touring the first floor and now headed towards the second floor. The first floor was a functional space. The second floor was a place where their room was located, according to Olivia.
Little pumpkin decided to walk once they reached the second floor.
"Miss Bella, here is your room. Mr. Ryan's will be next to you," Olivia opened the first room. She gestured for her to enter.
"You can look around. Tell me if there's anything lacking. I'll help Mr. Ryan in his room," Olivia said as she was ready to carry little pumpkin to the room not far from Bella Lim's.
"W-wait!" Bella Lim urgently asked her to stop. Her glance shifted between little pumpkin and Olivia.
"I can share my room with my brother," her voice was firmed together with a determination in her eyes. She didn't want to take too much space for them in the villa. Moreover, she had peeked the inside of her room. The space was large, more than enough for two people.
"Besides, two rooms will burden the staff. We don't want to trouble any more than we already have,"
Bella Lim's request put a smile on Olivia's face. She looked at Bella Lim with the eyes of a mother. Her stares soothed the onlookers, something about her was comforting.
"Miss Bella, I believe you read the contract already? Eric had predicted for you to say so. He said to reject your request and no negotiation is allowed," Olivia said. Her face gleamed with excitement. Olivia thought it was funny how the whole thing occurred as expected. She only continued once she calmed down.
"Miss Bella, I know everything that had happened to the two of you. Eric had explained everything. I understand why you want to be with Mr. Ryan all the time. But, this little boy needs his privacy too and this place is safe. I'd say, the safest in Azure. Well, minus the day the stupid people trying to chase you here," Olivia tsked as she recalled the incident retold by Eric Wu to her.
